Nadine
This has been bugging for days now, neither hotmail or myspace etc. let me into my accounts on my laptop (works fine on other computers I have at home, so i know my passwords are indeed correct :xmasschef: ) Also on msn messenger it shows how many e-mails i have, but whenever i press the the link it asks for my password again on the hotmail page, which it shouldn't do, then simply doesn't let me sign in So far I've been suggested to delete all my cookies, check that it is on the 'accept cookies' option, reinstall my browsers... Done that. What else does it want!? Would very much appreciate any help with this coz it's driving me up the wall and I don't have a clue what it might be. Nadine
I use Opera 9.10 and also have the latest IE installed, tried everything on both of these, and Exact same problem for both, which I find really strange.

highvoltage
No offense gunsguy - but Nadine, i'd advise that you post your log at a proper HijackThis forum - where the people know exactly what they're talking about.

Nadine
gunsguy, i honestly didn't mean to say you don't know what you are talking about or decline any sort of help, just seemed like a better idea to ask people who obviously deal with this on a daily basis but i'd tremedously appreciate it if you could help and thanks The log:Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1Scan saved at 01:43:44, on 05/01/2007Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.5730.0011)Running processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\csrss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\Ati2evxx.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\ConfigFree\CFSvcs.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\DVDRAMSV.exec:\program files\mcafee.com\agent\mcdetect.exec:\PROGRA~1\mcafee.com\vso\mcshield.exec:\PROGRA~1\mcafee.com\agent\mctskshd.exec:\PROGRA~1\mcafee.com\vso\OasClnt.exec:\program files\mcafee.com\vso\mcvsshld.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VS7DEBUG\MDM.EXEC:\PROGRA~1\McAfee.com\PERSON~1\MpfService.exec:\program files\mcafee.com\agent\mcagent.exec:\progra~1\mcafee.com\vso\mcvsescn.exeC:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel\atiptaxx.exeC:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPLpr.exeC:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exeC:\Program Files\Toshiba\Windows Utilities\Hotkey.exeC:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\sdhelp.exeC:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Zooming Utility\SmoothView.exeC:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\Touch and Launch\PadExe.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\dla\tfswctrl.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\LVCOMSX.EXEC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_02\bin\jusched.exeC:\Program Files\USBPhoneSkype(Simple)\USBPhoneSkype.exeC:\PROGRA~1\McAfee.com\PERSON~1\MpfTray.exeC:\PROGRA~1\mcafee.com\mps\mscifapp.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\WtSrv.exeC:\PROGRA~1\McAfee\SPAMKI~1\MskAgent.exeC:\PROGRA~1\McAfee\SPAMKI~1\MSKDetct.exeC:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exeC:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exeC:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TOSCDSPD\toscdspd.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\RAMASST.exeC:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\alg.exeC:\PROGRA~1\McAfee.com\PERSON~1\MpfAgent.exeC:\PROGRA~1\McAfee\SPAMKI~1\MSKSrvr.exeC:\HJT\HijackThis.exeR1 -
