Slipknot heading into the studio

In an interveiw, lead singer of slipknot Corey Taylor stated that there's another album comming from slipknot, and that they'll be going into the studio before the end of the year. I know most of you don;t care, but im fuckin excited.. He also said that there was "atleast one more album", so that doesnt sound too promising.. but i'm sure he just meant it as a reassuring gesture to the fan's that yes, there is anothe ralbum comming.

If you're new to slipknot i'd suggest pulse of the maggots and metabolic.... but definatley give pulse of the maggots a listen to. slipknot doesnt really DO solo's so much.. but thats because the producer they were working with didnt think that solo's had a place in metal.. I semi agree, but if you want solo's in slipknot, anything on vol. 3. Pulse of the maggots sorta has a solo, duality sorta does, before I forget is a more pop/hard rock song.. it has a solo in it, and nameless does too. The nameless you may wanna get live, it sounds better, and you may wanna listen to prosthetics and the virus of life (on the resident evil soundtrack.. teh second one).. but i've been listening to pulse of the maggots alot lately..

Drummer? Shit, he's badass, anything he can do with his hands he can do with his feet, and vice versa.. but thats something people dont understand.. he's a very talented drummer.. but he's not the only one.. every one of them are very very fuckin talented at what they do, and more. Joey doesnt even play drums in his other band, he plays guitar and they had to talk him into being the drummer of slipknot, because he wanted to be the guitar player and When they found Corey, he was lead singe rof their rival, stonesour, and he was working in a porn shop, so Joey and a couple other member's went to where he worked and told him that he could either be the lead singer or he could get his ass kicked after work. he showed up to the next practice.... but all 9 of them are talented. Listen to corey when he's with slipknot, and listen to him in stonesour.. two complete oppisites and he's great at both. I could go on and on.. but take my word for it.. all 9 of them are just as talented as the other.. but yes.. joey definatley stands out more than the rest of them. He is the best drummer ever, like you said. If you dont believe, download Joey's drum solo on slipknot 9.0 live... fuckin amazing, neil pert is the only person better, and i'm not even sure he's better

Slipknot is all about teh hate.. it's a hateful and mean world.. and they understand that.. they also understand that getting all pissy and cry baby about it isn't gonna help.. the best thing to do is say fuck it I don;t care what you think about me.. "what tha fuck are you lookin at, i'll tell you what you're lookin at, everyone you ever fuckin laughed at", and about accepting yourslr for who you are and not trying to change yourself because society says you should "I'm not pretty and i'm not cool, but i'm fat and i'm ugly and proud so fuck you"...

But I agree, blister exsist, pulse of the maggots, duality are all very good solid rock songs.. made more for teh radio, which is disappointing to hear sometimes, but they're all great songs.. especially before I forget.. and vermillion is a fucking great song.. thats the kinda woman i'm looking for... one that makes me feel like that song does...

If you want more atmospheric songs, check out virus of life, skin ticket and the song Iowa.. they're pretty much your usual "put you in a box and call you mine" songs, but with deeper meaning.. and the thing to understand, is that slipknot, takes the idea of someone like that, and writes from their perspective, but from a more, gentle side, always having love be the motivation.. wheither it be, like prosthetics, which was based on the movie the collector.. but it shows that, maybe sometimes things arent done just because ya know, you're sic, but because you need someone... because you get lonley and sometimes cant have the one you want.. so you wanna take her and put he rin teh closet and keep her forever..lol.. Thats my running joke "oh no... you say no now.. but fuckin you will be mine.. even if I have to put you in a box and keep you in my basement like slipknot"..lmao.. some women dont find it so funny.. but some give in and like that kinda shit..lol.. (not being raped or put in a box, but someone who asserts hiself like that.. because if you know what songs i'm talking about like the nameless, the chorus is "I never really wanted anybody more.. than I wante dyou... don't go.. the only thing I ever really loved, was hate/hurting you.. great song, check it out too.. live version is what i suggest... but whatever, ya know.. I can't mak eyou like 'em and if you dont fit the music the band would probably prefer that you don't pretend to be one of them... slipknot isn;t for everyone, but when it is, you'll know it.. you cant help but feel the whole song when you can relate to slipknot

and yes, most maggots are smeely and ugly, but to call the stupid, I tink is a very ignorant statement to make as you don;t know much about them.. infact, a study has proven that the brightest and most talented kid's in america and the rest of teh world prefer bands like slipknot... so.. I think you may ahve ran into a few bad seeds' but i've met some backwoods redneck hillbilly guns fans.. I don;t consider every guns fan to be ignorant and backwoods or redneck or hillbilly..
