hudsonsaul
I remember this used to quite common on ebay about 8ish years ago. Couple of ppl/sellers would get various pickguards signed by artists, then slap it on an average guitar and hope for the best. Always thought it a bit odd, especially when the artist in question had nothing to do with the guitar style, make model, or the instrument itself...also if i recall they never seemed to sell that often. They'd get angry if you asked to bid just on the pick guard and not the guitar. Or ask them to list just the pick guard.

Subtle Signs
Fuck those ebayers. Get a proper job instead of leaching off artists. These Jabronis make it hard for fans to meet Axl.

So... you don't want it then? If I owned this there's no way anyone else would be getting their hands on it! But I already have a guitar I can't play.I remember this used to quite common on ebay about 8ish years ago. Couple of ppl/sellers would get various pickguards signed by artists, then slap it on an average guitar and hope for the best.That's... 'enterprising'! I'd never seen one of these before. I don't know how much people are willing to pay for his signature - I know his broken sunglasses went for $4,000. These Jabronis make it hard for fans to meet Axl.Yeah, I know he has a problem with people doing this. It's a shame if it affects real fans; I hear he's good about signing things for them.
