In 2005, we had the IRS leak, more pictures, even Merck said 2005 is the year of GNR. Yet nothing else important happened all year.

For pities sake, if ever we needed Ax to pull out the stops and give us even a BRIEF public statement about progess (if any) of CD (or even Guns n Roses), NOW is the time.

I can't help but notice after listening to the interview that Slash talks about Axl's new record without ANY prompting. He simply drops it into the conversation, and you can hear the surprise in the interviewer's response.

But at the end of the day we have to face the fact that Slash is simply telling the world what he has heard and that's about as concrete as baby shit!

I could be being paranoid here, but does anyone else have the slight suspicion that Slash is mocking Axl?

For a start why would he even talk about Gnr on a radio station when it doesn't benefit him or VR?

We know that the next round of the court case is scheduled for March and I can't help but think that SOMEHOW the case is preventing CD release. By stating that the new record SHOULD be out in March, could it be possible that Slash is taking the piss because he knows that it will not be released at that time?

As I said above, probably paranoid bullshit, but what do you fellas reckon??
