I began this thread to make my point which is simply this.

I love the 'original' line-up of gnr, but I really would love for the current Guns to get the recognition they deserve. They are capable, as proven by Chinese, of releasing epic albums.

It would make an old guns fan very happy to see the guys be recogised in their own right, and I feel that getting more music out to the world is a step in the right direction.

Just wanted to get peoples' thoughts on this matter.

I know we've had Chinese for just over a year now (which I love) and I'm stoked that the band is touring, belting out the new and old tracks amazingly.

But I got to thinking today that for Axl especially to start putting the past era of Guns to bed, the band should seriously look at releasing more material. Most people seem to agree that there is at least enough music recorded for at least one more studio album.

I don't want to be labelled as another greedy fan who just wants more music, but how many here would agree that more studio music would help the world to see how this current line-up of Guns fuckin rocks and more importantly, how it deserves to be recognised in its own right without constantly being compared to the old line-up?

Can't wait for this, and I'm in the UK!

Anyone remember whether we were forewarned about an announcement for release of CD last year?

This is an appeal to any Japanese fans who visit this board.

I live in the UK but have decided to travel to Japan to see the Tokyo Dome show. I have gotten prices for my Hotel and flights, etc but I CANNOT get hold of a ticket.

I am watching an auction on Yahoo Japan and have been in touch with the seller who has said that even if I were to win the auction, he would be unable to send the ticket to the UK. Unfortunately this seems to be the response from a few of the ticket sellers over on Yahoo. No reasons have been explained to me.

So what I was wondering was whether a trustworthy Japanese member could buy the ticket for me (I will send you the money in advance so there is no risk to you) and then send to me in the UK.

I cannot book flights/Hotels without this ticket so this really is my last hope.

The ticket auction I am interested in ends 17th October so there's only a few days left.

Please help!!
