Ashba = hired guy who covers Slash' songs and didn't wrote any well known songs

Axl hates Slash, because Slash got way to much attention when he was in Gn'R and even gets more attention while doing is solo projects than Axl coverband.

That's why Axl replaced all the bandmembers with some unknown guyes, just so Axl would be in the spotlight all by himself.

I would go; the are better and more GN'R than Axl' coverband...

I always hoped for a (full scale) reunion of GN'R. But after seeing the photo's of the ceremony and the media's response to the gig I'm glad that Axl was such a big pussy.

Cause if he would have showed up and played with the band it would be devestating; Axl singing with his Mickey Mouse voice would be VMA's all over again and it would harm the legency of the old GN'R.

The real heroes of GN'R had a blast playing, have something to be proud of and are partying big time right now. Axl instead is problably still on his own, locked up in his room with his laptop searching the internet for the media articles regarding the whole ceremony.

Keep up the good work Axl, keep touring with your GN'R cover band and keep trying to rock as those guys did at the ceremony tonight.

I think the main reason that Axl won't be showing up is that if he would show up, people would expect him to play a few songs. And than everyone on the entire world will see how shit is voice/condition is right now. I think he still has nightmares from that disaster VMA's performance...

Think there is a good chance that he is constantly pressing F5 on all the GN'R message boards, just to follow the induction ceremony all while having himself locked up in is room with the lights out (or maybe Beta is sitting next to him, feeding him some milk)

Have to say that Matt is a great guy! Down to earth and taking it easy.

Axl just can't stand it that other people on the same stage get the same attention (or more) that himself. That's why he now plays with some hired unknown people and became a dictator in first place; he wanted to be the leading person on stage and that's why he can never stand on the same stage as with Slash again, brcause he knows he has to share the attention with Slash.

The only reason why Axl is getting so much Google hits, is because he's acting like a fucking child on the Hall of Fame happening. More hits will definitially come.

Axl the only real rock and roll hero. Declining his invitation 2 days before the ceremony by letter, posting the first official 'band' photo since the real GN'R and still hiding in his cave, crying hisself to sleep about the fact that Slash has more succes then he since the dead of GN'R in '96.

Again just man up for one night. But if you even can't do that, you probably can better keep touring again and again with the same material and when your not on tour with your GN'R cover band, hiding in your cave all by yourself.

Why being such a fucking baby Axl? If you really thought about the fans, what other artist etc. hoped you would do; then you would atleast show up.

I think Rod and Ron are cool and all, but I don't think either of them know the true problems, and the extent of those problems. They are speaking as if it's really simple, but we all know the back and fourth comments between the original 5 guys since 1997, and it hasn't been pretty.

So I think these 2 are just producing the "simple" answer and solution, but we know it's REALLY not as simple as 1,2,3.
