    I hear that,Broham. I continue to think (as would most rational folks) that there is no conspiracy involved when Slash speaks about Axl. I don't think he is doing it to get publicity,etc. Slash just answers what is asked of him in these interviews.

    exactly, people will always ask those questions because he was a big party of the biggest band in the early '90

    He is interviewed a lot because people are still interested in him and what he his doing at the moment. You can't say it from Axl and that's why you guys spit on Slash

    That's not a fair judgement to make, I reckon a lot of people are looking for an interview with Axl but he doesn't want to do it, he clearly likes his privacy and only gives an interview when he feels he needs to say something and when the time is right. Bach said that Axl told him that he would "Give VH1 2 million to leave me the fuck alone," that's not word for word but you get the jist of it.

    Maybe not, but my point was that people are still (after all those questions) curious about how Slash thinks about Axl etc. Maybe with the thought to get a headline story....

    Totally! Stop promoting that solo album of yours Slash! Even if you are proud of it! You are a Professional Musician! Stop acting like one! Slash,you are getting out of hand with these solo gigs and interviews! All the things that artists do to promote their work! How could you do this to all of us,Slash?!

    Dude, you totally understood me, don't pretend you didn't. Every day I come here there's a new thread "Slash mentions Axl bla bla bla", "Slash says Axl...".

    For fucks sake. Slash was asked a question involving Axl,he was very cool about it and at times complimentary. What do you want him to do, tell the interviewer, "Sorry,I can't answer that cause a few folks at MYGNRFORUM will get mad and think this is a conspiracy on my part to sell more albums by invoking the name of the great Axl Rose?" If Axl were to say one nice thing about Slash this Forum would explode but when Slash is complimentary towards Axl,it is the same five "LOLSLASH!" people who try and create something out of nothing.

    Yeah, but after a billion interviews we already got what Slash has to say, can't he just shut up about it? Allright, he wants to Axl's friend, great, everyone knows that!

    when is slash going to jam with the black eyed peas again and make some more incredible music to live up to that excellent gnr legacy that he is clinching to with all his mite?

    You can't expect that someone like you will give a serious argument or comment.

    A guy who is friends with Dexter (aka Axl) and has a big photo of him on is profile of Axl and Buckethead saying 'guns' . That last one is especially pathetic.

    Who else is getting a Jennifer Aniston "still obsessed over their ex" kinda vibe from slash lately?

    They just asked him a question about Axl!

    What do you expect him to answer? Answers like the members of GN'R do?

    - 'Sorry, I have no answer on that'

    - 'Can't speak of the management'

    - 'Have no fucking idea of what for band I'm in'

    - 'Don't ask me, I'm just playing for the money, that's all'

    As long as people ask Slash questions about Axl/GN'R (wich is and will be almost every interview), he will give an answer on that, simple as that.

    No, he doesn't agree. He just don't want to get involved in some sort of pathetic fight were Axl wants to go.

    Dude that is a really ignorant statement. First off, Fergie can actually sing, whether you like her or not. Secondly, pre-judging music you haven't even heart is absolutely ridiculous. Behind every album is an artists true emotions. They put their heart and musicianship into making songs that people will love. I don't care who the artist is. This whole Axl vs. Slash thing is an unoriginal topic and is getting old. The fact is, they both put their feelings into their music. I'm not saying you would like Slash's album, but pre-deciding it is "garbage" is absolutely ignorant and disrespectful to the artist.

    What is the point of that? Companies are asking Slash if he wants to do some advertising for them, because he's an legend and Slash is so friendly to do that. The same as playing with Fergie, Micheal Jackson, Lenny Kravitz etc.; he get asked by a lot of people because he's such an amazing guitar player and people like him.

    Can't help it that Axl isn't asked for such things...

    You are right. It has tarnished the legacy. It was greeted in the US with a yawn, if that.

    Guns n Roses sell out everywhere except in the USA...I think that speaks volumes. :lol: And I guess that $la$h´s performance of Paradise Shitty with Fergie didn´t tarnish the legacy... <_<

    No the don't. Only a few concert were sold out of the last 2006 tour in Europe.

    And about Slash; that cover isn't something to be proud off, but atleast he doesn't print the name GN'R on it wich Axl is doing right know, by performing the old songs with a bunch of (cover)musicians...

    What is a clear sign??????......You, Ali and others keep saying this Jackie yet when I ask you to provide proof you come up with nothing......Where is your proof that it never happened? Stop sidestepping the question,

    sorry but ive given my reasons numerous times, i think your sidestepping my answers. these are my reasons for not believing the hijacking story.

    1.if axl had pulled that as slash states, they would have sued him and recovered their rights. since they havent, i would conclude it didnt happen.

    2.marc said slash lied re:axl / the break up, i believe marc, so why would i believe slashs story? marc hasnt specified what slash lied about, true, but the fact he lied puts doubt on his entire story.

    3.axl said it didnt happen

    3 b. when someone asked marc if 96 gnr really worked on fall to pieces, marc replied 'if axl said it happened, it happened. axl wouldnt lie about something like that", which leads me to believe #3 over slash's version.

    those are my reasons for doubting slashs story. do i know what happened, no , theres no way i can sit here and tell you exactly what happened. all im saying is i dont believe slash.

    Funny that Izzy and Duff says the exact same thing as Slash says...

    No, it's not. It's Axl Rose with his touring band which exist of continiously changing musicians. You release that this bands legancy only stands on the name and the songs that the old band made?
