  1. Browser, i had about 4 singing lessons, and i got told that milk, dairy products and junk food are bad for a singer because they cause an increase in phlegm (or however u spell it) which is true because i have that problem. Salads and things are good for you're health in general and will help your throat.

I used Vocal Zone tablets (as suggested by G2R_AXL) and they do work, they're a kind of menthol sweet that you suck that also help for smokers or people with horse voices

An yeh, you don't know Gav so i wouldn't go insulting him. He's not an Axl Rose wanna be. He's an actor who does it as a hobby. And why not? It's a good hobby, i've played with him a few times. If you were at mathew Street festival in Liverpool last year you'd know how big of an impact he had on the crowd there, i was standing backstage an saw a a fuckin load people go nuts when he came out (i think there was about 35,000 people at the festival)... then later on someone called him a wanna be in a biker bar an he fucked up 2 guys...so just be careful ;)

  2. "I don't love you" .. My girlfriend hates me...my friend thinks im a tit...but apart from that i really REALLy like this song! What the hell is wrong with me?! Whilst being honest i actually don't mind this band. I've only heard (or seen) what's been on Kerrang! but i think they have some pretty good riffs and this song is a pretty good single! Good move for them anyway, attract more of a different audience...like me!

    shoot me now

  3. Yeh, well, i play everythin like. So i'm playin bass in this band cos they didn't like my singin. But i don't care i'm enjoying bass an have bought myself a Epiphone Gothic Thunderbird which sounds BOSS

BAH! I knew i should never have shown you my bass!

think im gonna get the Epiphone Blackbird whenever its released as a back up

Haha it's a beast i must admit. But i wanted the normal Thunderbird but they didn't have them in store and i needed a bass so i grabbed the Gothic for a nice £269! Bargain i think

  4. I listened to Make or Break. Really good song, but I think the verse is a bit weak. The refrain, the intro and the guitar solo are cool, though. ;)

    EDIT:

Man, I can't get that chorus out of my head.

"You say it's make or break, but we'll never take you higher..." rock3

Haha thanks dude! Yeh i'm not too fussed about that song to be honest. My favourites are Dirty Vendetta, Get Free an Psycho Lover. But you can't really here much of Pyscho. Just the intro. But Thanks anyway!!

Haven't listened to the other songs, yet. But I have to put "Make Or Break" on my iPod. It's so catchy. Since I heard it, I was like all the time singing this one. :Prock3

Haha thanks dude! What you think of the other songs?

  7. Ok so this is more about Robert Plant, but Axl's in it so move this wherever you fuckers want to

Robert Plant Voted Greatest Metal Vocalist Of All Time

    Led Zeppelin man honoured...

Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant has been voted the greatest metal vocalist of all time in a new poll.

Conducted by Hit Parader, Plant was voted ahead of the likes of Judas Priest’s Rob Halford (number two), Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler (three) and Freddie Mercury (five).

Interestingly, Kurt Cobain only came in at 20 and Mick Jagger failed to make the top ten only coming in at 15. While, prick Justin Hawkins came in at 88.

Proving that the poll’s genre classification is very flawed, the likes of Rod Stewart and David Bowie also polled.

The full top 100 is as follows:

    EDIT: Vince Neil? 33!?

  8. my band Atomica are looking to make it big. Otherwise we're all fucked cos we don't do anything else haha. We just need a singer. London is the only place to have even a chance of making it these days if you play rock. Camden is UK's "sleaze port"

What happened to that kick ass singer? :D He had really cool voice.

Haha i know, he wanted to be a DJ or something? I don't know, he left before i joined! So we're still looking! The search continues

  10. Same here man, i don't like a lot of bass guitars mainly cos im a short ass 5'9 an they all look huge on me. But i'm investing in a Thunderbird pretty soon. Just get whatever bass you want man, u can always put a pick up in. I cant tell the difference in pickups for bass. Like, im using a squire at the moment and it's got 2 little ones in the middle...sounds ok to me, depends what amp you are using aswell

  11. Money - Pink Floyd

    Slither - Velvet Revolver

Probably more but off the top of my head

money-its funny but i learned that lil hook this morning thatzs exazctly the kind of sugestions i have in mind

i may look into the chilis and marley ones but i dont know them and frostwire is broke  cheers though

keep the bassline discusions coming thougfh there never seems too be any here

I just started playing bass for a band an' i prefare the more Nikki Sixx kind of bass lines. It's just relaxing for me cos i used to be a frontman. But most Gn'R bass lines are cool unless you want something totally different. If that's the case go for the Chili's stuff. Or...learn guitar! haha

Alternatively check out the bass lines on my bands songs. Get Free has kind of a "slither/Paradise City" feel to it. It's in drop D aswell

    Check em out! www.myspace.com/atomicauk
