bump...i would also like to see this song live
-
You seem to be good musicians, but sadly you're never going to make it far.
never make it? how so?
There are a few bands i can see who will make it big, Sweet Seduction being one of them. Just get your asses over to America an' fuckin blow them away!
-
Thats totally studio. I ain't heard a live version sung that well or that clear
-
I believe you, you seem like an honest dude. Even though you failed to meet me in Hollywood on my vacation!! (Yeah you probably don't remember) Nevertheless i just downloaded it now. Wether the video is "inconclusive" or not i'll still stand by you man. Good fuckin news anyway!
-
I'd like to see T.W.A.T played a lot more and more new Gn'R songs and less AFD and more UYI
There. That should fix things
-
Bad idea man, if you ain't Axl Rose everyone in here will think you're a wannabe
I got you on myspace like an i think you're fuckin cool. You should defo come to Liverpool sometime!
-
Hmm they're "OK" i suppose. Not quite what i had in mind like. Be yourself & 5 other cliches is probably the best but i was expecting something better like
And i still can't imagine Tommy Lee and Gilby Clarke in the same band
-
Guns 2 Roses are pretty good, check out their myspace... http://www.myspace.com/guns2rosesuk
Craig played with them in Liverpool, and we went to see em in Camden a couple of weekends ago. Well worth going to see.
So did Crash Diet...

I love the crue! But they do have some particularaly cheesy music on each album that I don't like. All that is pretty much evened out though with kickass stuff like Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart.., and Don't Go Away Mad..
Yeah, the Dr. Feelgood album they were all cleaned up and drug free so no wonder that got such good write ups. Meh, i prefare the earlier stuff. Shout and TFFL

Found this on Gigwise.com :xmasssanta: It's not much, but it's hope!

Pre-production has started on the Motely Crue bio-pic based on their outrageous biography ‘The Dirt’.
The movie, which takes the same name, promises to be a cracker if it’s anything like Neil Strauss’ book – which candily details the poodle-rockers’ raucous behaviour as they live out all their Spinal Tap fantasies.
‘Borat’ director Larry Charles will helm the movie, which will shoot in Los Angeles, according to Production Weekly.
The movie had been put on hold last year after David Fincher pulled out to do another project.

equally as sad?...or worse!
That's ok. It's quite sexy and the girl is quite cute

i understand. i feel like that when i listen to enya or the LOTR soundtrack.
I thought you were being serious...
i am. life's about variety, one day i'll wanna listen to some anal cunt, the next day i'll whack on the LOTR soundtrack and think back to the shire.

it's not official, but put them in an envelope, have them recorded delivered to your own house and keep them. that way you have a date of when they were sent!

To make a million dollars, then spend half a million on some kick ass buds n' the other half on cocaine.
This guy knows how to shop!
Someone's gotta know how it is. Ain't nothin' wrong with a lil' addiction, as long as you don't let it get in your way.
Whatcha reading about?
If you've got the mindset that you won't become/let the addiction get in your way, you'll be fine. It's worked for me.
I like your spending style aswell...well, i'm not into weed like, so i'd spend the other half a million on JD and a car to crash

I've never really got into Motley Crue, or any other American 'hair metal' group. Exactly the type of band that was shown for what they were when AFD came out. . . .
LA
Crue weren't the hair metal cliche per say, that was Bon Jovi or Cinderella, if we're being super-specific, I would group them with Sleaze rock bands.
Yeah, Crue wern't "Hair Metal". If you listen to their first album it's kind of glam rock with an element of pop (well the majority of the album). The Dirt explains all the stages visually and musically they went through. I think if people read that, no matter how fabricated or un fabricated it is, people would understand Motley a lot more. For example Girls Girls Girls is a result of Vince Neil (trying to) becoming the next Hugh Heffner!
-
I always liked them somewhat, but re-listening to some of the albums, it becomes apparent that I definitely underrated them. Vince was a good vocalist, Mick's guitar is great, Tommy is a great drummer (that I never denied), and the rest of the band is also really good (especially Nikki).
That made me laugh
As it don't make sense... Motley has 4 members, you already named 3, and then said the rest of the band is good (espescially the 4th member)
I'm not a Motley Crue fan, I thought there might be a rythm guitarist.
Red1: From what I've heard, the heavier stuff (NOT GGG/Dr. Feelgood) is better. Stuff like "Live Wire" and "Wild Side" are great.
Wild Side is from Girls Girls Girls though. Try some of the Shout At The Devil Stuff. Thats good

I love Motley Crue. One of my favourite bands. I don't know why people don't like them. Vince back in the day was a fucking awsome frontman, Mick is a totally underrated guitarist and the other 2 are just legends anyway. Too Fast For Love is probably my favourite Crue album. It's quite Glam and pop as well as rock. It's a fucking cool album.
Most people hate Vince Neil. Why? Fuck knows. He's fucking awsome. Considering all the shit he went through aswell. If you read the chapter in The Dirt about Skylar his daughter i'm sure most people would understand why he went off the rails a bit. Thats really sad. But hey he bounced back!
Yeah some of the stuff they did was pretty shit. Theatre of Pain and Girls Girls Girls could have been so much better. But on the whole, fucking brilliant songs!
Check out the 83 American festival they did. They fuckin won that thing hands down.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG0N-YnQNno - Shout At The Devil 1st time they ever played it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYHr1Y_U7E0 - Knock 'em Dead Kid

Despite microphone problems...Brilliant!!!
