No matter what you do, you cant get that Slash sound coming out from your playing.

As i said, the closest way to get that jungle sound is to get that Marshall Slash used on the AFD sessions with the custom gain and tremelo in it and get yourself some seymore duncan pick ups...and about £10,000 worth of recording equipment. Yeah, good luck

As for the main riff, chorus etc it's just medium overdrive (not too much, kind of crunchy) and a bright but thick sound

Then you'll need some Clean for the bridge and a bit of reverb maybe. That's about it

DONT FORGET, YOU CAN'T GET CERTAIN TONES UNLESS YOU HAVE THE SAME EQUIPMENT AS THE ARTIST WHO'S PLAYING THE SONG!!!

Erm, probably no fx used. Just ran straight through an amp, very low distortion

I'm sure a Gretch guitar has similar pickups. Ask johnezz he has more of an idea of Classic rock tones than i do

Yeah it's just solid state but i used to get a great "slash-esque" tone out of mine. But yeah if you're gonna get an amp get an original JCM800. People say they have crap distortion but i've heard them in a place in Camden screamin an fuck me. They're fuckin awsome

That's what i mean, if you need woman tone or a really trebbly tone for solo'ing live your wah is your best friend. Fuck FX pedals off n shit (even tho wah is FX but you know what i mean)

You tried the "woman" tone with your wah yet? Rock it back and then a tiiiiiny bit forward til you got like a muddy quacky type sound. that's fuckin cool. or rock it and leave it mid way, sounds similar to a talk box

You can do lots of wierd stuff with but try not just rocking backwards n forwards. Try emphisise certain notes when playin' solo's n shit. Sounds fuckin cool
