Wichita Lineman is a classic country song.
I think some of the old country Is excellent but for the most part I despise It. Love Waylon Jennings though.

Axl probably needs to go to country music. I hate country music but it’s easy to sing and the last 5-7 years he’s developed a bit of a southern sound in his vocals. He can write 40 albums like Witchita Lineman in his sleep
He would never reduce himself to playing that "my tractor and dog down by the barn" bullshit.

The one thing i like when listening to the eagles vids on YouTube during the 70s, don felders solos were spot on like on the record note for note and they are great to hear. I wish slash would do the solo to coma just how you hear on the record rather than kind of noodling it in.
I agree In reference to Coma but I believe Slash came real close with the November Rain solo's. I also think the eagles from that time period were the best live band on the planet. Their performances from that time period still beat most performances today IMO.

Listened to this probably 4-5 times since last night and I haven't done that with a post 2016 video as of yet. I think It must be the crowd participation that makes It special. GREAT crowd.

Just listened to November Rain on Youtube and I thought It sounded pretty damn good, although the crowd was very loud and singing word for word so that probably helped. Slash was spot on with his solo's.

Anyone that was there able to give an update on how the attendance was?

This is how Axl should sound nowadays... Steven is fucking 70 years old. And we have to celebrate when Axl rasps two words in Rocket Queen.

Also i cant believe segar is 70. Looks at least 20 years younger.
Bob Seger does look much younger than he actually is, as you stated. I am looking forward to catching him on his final run. Great artist.

A real shame. You're usually pretty positive too. Guess I won't bother searching for clips then.
I really wish that wasn't the case but it was honestly that bad. Even songs that have been very good to decent since the tour started such as Nightrain are not worth listening to. He may improve in spots as the the tour continues but I believe it ends sometime in early December, not a lot of time to get it together.

Absolutely deplorable performance vocally. I don't think there was one song that stood out or could be called good.

How’s Ax sound tonight?
Not good IMO. That was one of the weakest Nightrain's I think I have ever heard.

Last person I recall listening and caring was Bumblefoot. And thus, we got Estranged.
Greatful for that, just wish it was in the encore like it was on the Illusions Tour.

Why can't they replace TIL with Pretty Tied Up. Good for his voice, fans would love it. Everybody wins.
Because they do not listen or care what fans want with songs or set lists, never have.

I think the same songs he struggled with for the past 2 years are the same songs he will continue to struggle with. That RQ is very rough on the ears.

I can only laugh at how bad jungle is at this point
First show back after a long layoff. I don't think many on this board was expecting Axl to be up to par. I'm sure the people attending think he sounds good and truthfully that is really all that matters. I also didn't think Jungle sounded good, maybe it was the stream and we will get a better listen when a decent video is released.

Yes, a bit of both.

Jungle does not sound very good.

Read the last 6 posts....set list moaning...anticipating a weak Axl performance....im out!
It's pretty much a given that Axl will not be up to par after a 3-4 month break. As far as the set list is concerned I don't know why anyone would complain about it. It has been the same for the past 3 years and it isn't going to suddenly change on the last leg of the tour. As stated previously, the set list is dedicated to fans in attendance, not people streaming at home. I don't think that everyone is intentionally being negative, just expressing opinions. You are always going to have certain individuals who enjoy finding whatever negative they can find.

They can tour as long as they want as far as I am concerned. I just wish they would drop the prices and play more songs from the classic era.
Couldn't agree more. They could continue to tour until they retire or die onstage and I will attend every show they play within 5 hours of my residence regardless of whether or not they release new material.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there will not be multiple busting of nuts pertaining to set list changes or past members making guest appearances.

I'm going to eat my own shit if Axl sounds any good. And with that I mean next to no Mickey.
Also expecting now setlist change at all.
I was always optimistic up until the last leg, sure we got 2 new songs but Axl still sounded like Barry Gibb's grandma and the show was basically the same.
You are going to be hungry tonight.
