  1. It was a bummer that he didn't attend the HoF ceremony, but it isn't the end of the world. I, personally, don't want a reunion, but I want to hear new music. Now, I'm not demanding anything, cause they don't owe me anything. But in my mind, they need to release more music if they want to be taken seriously. And if Gn'R comes to my country, I'm probably not going. Seen them live once (2010) and it was great, but I don't see the point to go see them when all they do is keep touring and playing the same old songs and not evolving or going forward at all. I know, it doesn't make a big difference if one guy doesn't go, and I'm not trying to boycott anything here. It's just that Gn'R has felt so stale, since I saw them live. Maybe that's just me. But I really think new music would be the shot in the arm that this band needs.

And those who reply with the "life doesn't owe you your personal happy ending" -quote, get ready to be bitchslapped.

    j/k :D :D...

  2. Meanwhile on H.T.G.T.H., Jarmo saying that Slash & Duff are not original members but just a past lineup, and Axl is the only remaining original member since Izzy has left...

    What a jerk...

I've always hated this argument. And the whole "original Guns was Ole Beich, Tracii Guns and blaa blaa blaa". That's just being a smartass .. it's like, c'mon...

  3. Duff and the rest of the guys are gonna save this event. I mean, things could've been and gone a lot worse. And, I guess, they still can, but I'm happy for them. This is a great night for them and to us too. It's all about rock'n'roll, having fun and enjoying yourselves. Sad that Axl's not there, but that's his choice. Here's to Guns N' Roses, past, present and the future!

  4. Geez, Axl is a grown man. If he doesn't want to go, he doesn't want to go. As much as I like the guy, he needs to realize that he too could man up. Sure, the other guys could've called him. It would have been a nice gesture, but you have to draw the line somewhere. Four guys bending over backwards because of one guy's moodswings doesn't sound right to me either. Axl, too, could've contacted the other guys and say "no, I'm not coming yadda yadda yadda". The old guys don't need to bash Axl and the new line-up (I'm looking at you Steven), but they don't also need to march to the beat of Axl's drum anymore.

  5. Axl's childish behaviour doesn't need to ruin the night for the rest of the guys. It's their night too. A celebration for what they've achieved. If Axl doesn't want to have anything to do with the HoF-thing, then it's ok and fair that the guys play and sing whatever they want, with whoever they want.

And I say this as an huge Axl fan!

  6. It's kinda sad, that Axl won't attend. Like I've said before, this is not an every day event, so he should be proud of it and enjoy things like these. Life is too short.

And as a fan I'm a little dissappointed, but it won't affect my life in anyway. My saturday won't be any different if he goes or don't go (which is the case). Would love to see him there, but now that I know that I don't it's kinda...meh...

  7. People who say Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven are so clever and not unpredictable at all :D.

But yeah, mine dream team would be:

    Axl - vocals

    Duff - bass

    Matt Sorum - drums

    Robin Finck - guitar

    Chris Pittman - keyboards

    Richard Fortus - guitar

Duff and Matt would present the "old school" -vibe of Gn'R. Plus they form one hell of a rhythm section. Finck and Pittman would bring in this newer vibe. Axl (and Fortus) would be kinda like the bridge between those two vibes.
