Trent couldn't make Estranged better, no one could. But he is really talented, more than Axl. Yes, Trent's vocal range isn't that broad and he isn't the best guitarist, but his song-writing abilities are amazing. And he releases music on a regular basis, which to me counts for something. Some of it is good and some of it is bad, but you can't always make hits like closer and hurt or welcome to the jungle and november rain.

Wikileaks is putting people in jeopardy.I think that with freedom of speech there comes a responsibility. You don't need to leak everything you get your hands on. It would be cool. But I doubt that Timberlake remembers Fortus. Or has even met him. A duet would sure give GnR publicity, but with this band...

and it wouldn't be selling out or whoring. It's not like GnR is some underground wonder. It would be new and different...but yeah, not in a billion that's gonna happen.

Many (band)forums nowadays are full of people like us, fighting with each others. With the anonymity that internet provides you don't need to censor yourself, so it's easier to bash one another and to be a dick. Sad but true .

It's with Disturbed...As great as GnR is nowadays, KoRn would blow them out of the water. I mean, the energy in their live shows is so great and amazing. Depends of the crowd of course too, but KoRn is on fire these days...and yeah, they don't suck.

I've worked two shows that Korn headlined and I can say in all honesty that they were the worst live band I've ever heard. And I enjoy a few of the singles from the band, but live they are horrendous. Super sloppy, super muddy, off key, out of breath, just terrible. One show was from just outside the fence (which typically offered the best sound in that venue) and another was near the pit area. Legitimately awful live.

Guess the energy just always grabs me, cause the only bad KoRn show I've seen was 2004. After that they've always been great. Maybe I've just been lucky or I don't hear that they suck live . KoRn shows are always great, for me at least. Needless to say, that I'm slightly more of a KoRn fan than GnR. Though I really LOVE both bands .

I think the new guns record will be out in 2013...assuming the world doesn't end in 2012...actually I don't really care when it comes out. Well, obviously I care, but I'm not holding my breath or anything.

CD is a great, great album. But I don't think it's ahead of it's time. And I think it wasn't ever meant to be.

But give it a couple of more years, and it will be appreciated a lot more.

I saw Duff with Loaded once in 2009. They had 3 gigs here in Finland, which was great, but odd considering it's Finland we're talking about. Most bands do one show and then get the fuck out as soon as possible, which is understandable. But yeah, a GREAT gig!

Richard rocks! I can't pick a favorite out of the three guitarists, but Richard definitely has stage presence. He's energetic and his playing is good, he's awesome to watch and to listen live.

Angel Down is a pretty decent album (and a great album if you're drunk!) , although it's the feat. Axl-songs that i listen the most when i listen to it...

Lucky russian bastards...it's probably for the rich and the beautiful only, but still, great that they're doing these kinda things.

I think Axl could use some of Ashba's talent.He is a good songwriter and a good guitarist.

I don't think Axl would do that. I doubt he cares that much...or actually, what there is to care? It's not like they're some long lost brothers or anything. Sorry, if I sound arrocant or something. Not trying to be a dick . If Duff and Tommy want to meet I don't think they need Axl to that. And like Duff said in the article, they have crossed paths over the years.
