Who's want you win today? Uk or France?  I heard today an Argentine journalist, and he said that Uk and Croatia teams are between the best teams of the WC. Today we will see Uk vs France?

    England vs. France.

England isn't the UK, it's one of four countries that exist within the UK. The other three (Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) all have their own football associations and national teams (and many of their fans will be supporting France today).

(No te estoy regañando, amiga :) , solo quise clarificar como escocés).

  2. Dude didn't even drink alcohol when he joined GnR and ended up downing bottles of Jägermeister before shows to numb the pain from a spinal injury enough that he could play. I remember how upbeat and well-intentioned he was when he joined the band back in '06 (despite the problems that were already bubbling under the surface with Richard and Robin not being very welcoming). Watching the stars fall away from his eyes over the years that followed was soul-crushing.

  3. Fleetwood Mac were fortunate enough to have three of the best vocalists in rock history at once, but Christine McVie was my favourite. I feel really lucky to have seen them live with her, Lindsey, Stevie, Mick and John all together. Very sad that she's gone, but she leaves an amazing legacy. Rest in peace, Christine!

I'm pleasantly surprised by no red wave. Hopefully Trump doesn't end up returning either.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at Mar-a-Lago just now to see the kind of mental gymnastics he's performing to try and justify this situation to himself and those around him.

Try serving almost 20 years here. I signed up when I was staying over at my grandparents' house when I was 15 - they had Internet access, which I didn't have at my family home. I've got several real-life friends whom I met here.

I signed up for the forum in an internet café in a hotel on one of the Scottish islands... It was £1 per hour to use the internet, all of the PCs had coin slots. I remember trying to load flash videos hosted on the main MyGNR site of the Rock in Rio 2001 performance to try and see what on earth GN'R sounded like post-1994.

  6. There's something really funny about the way the forum's inserted "2 months later..." between these two posts:

When your budget is too insanely right-wing for the IMF, Lawrence Summers and the British mainstream media, in a way, that's quite impressive.

Very simple. NATO was created by US to oppose Russia and guarantee western superiority. If there is no reason to fight Russia, NATO is useless so they have been trying for decades to provoke  Russia in order to finally start a bloody war, kill people and allow armaments lobbies to further enrich themselves. Furthermore, we have Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum that pursues the project of the great reset which foresees the reduction of the world population (refer to his book "the fourth industrial revolution"). Behind it there are the most powerful families of the planet (Rothschild, Rockfeller, ecc) and they have already penetrated governments as Schwab himself declared. So, after forced inoculations, what's better than a world war to achieve these goals?

You're a flat earth away from conspiracy theory bingo here.

Hey should I be concerned about Lake Taupo?

Not overly, at the moment. As I understand it (from a very superficial look), they've raised the alert level from 0 to 1 (out of a possible 5) because of a number of generally very minor earthquakes. It's basically "this volcano has gone from no notable activity to the lowest possible threshold of notable volcanic activity". There are plenty of volcanoes around the world experiencing internal seismicity at this sort of level on a regular basis that aren't a cause for concern. That's the current situation; I'm not saying that a big eruption at Lake Taupo is impossible (it's definitely possible), but I am saying that it's statistically improbable in the near future.

We're (the volcanological community) supposed to be having our first global assembly since 2017 at Taupo in January, but I won't be going, because I'm skint .

My 7 year old and her friend were playing at ours yesterday. They found an old phone and I just heard a voice from the other room saying “I’m Karen and I want to speak to the manager!”  😂 Apparently playing Karen is a thing for younguns these days.

How is your child seven, what even is time?
