Billboards in USA and newspaper ad in Portugal probably indicates that the announcement is coming near, possibly after Mexican gigs. I really hope they announce the whole tour at the same time.

I would be really surprised it they don't announce the tour in the next 2 weeks or so - there's no better gift than a gnr ticket for christmas

I'm pretty sure we will not get any confirmed shows by any promoter here in europe - the whole tour will be announced by the band/management including the video that has been taken down again a few days ago - maybe we get some cryptic tweets from some insiders  before but the only ones who will announce a show willl be guns by themselves

Leeds/Reading is a festival show they wouldn't need the whole setup there and could just fly over and play the show there

All we got unitl now have just been bits and pieces - this is a full tour shedule which covers all the cities we expected them to play - also the venues seem to be correct/realistic. Might be some tiny changes but all in all I'm pretty sure that this is correct.

btw: If the dates are correct you would have gnr and aerosmith on the weekend of 5 and 6th june in copenhagen

These dates sound very realistic - on the other hand coldplay  is playing vienna @ the stadium just 3 days before the supposed gnr gig - don't know if it would be possible to change the whole setup within 3 days...

Nova Rock also starts on 14th of june - so they would also collide with this date - it don't think promoters would risk that

A lot of things are pretty clear by now:

There will be a european tour in  may/june/July?!

It will be stadiums only

They will announce it before christmas (of course)

I still hope that they somehow manage to arrange a concert in a pretty short time frame to one of the aerosmith shows in the same city so that it would be possible to watch both shows (or get some guest apperences) 

Would be interesting to see how slash would develope his solo stuff after the gnr tour - I guess he would heavily concentrate on his solo stuff because no one would want to hear myles butcher gnr songs after everybody saw the real deal. That would also mean slash should get used playing to much smaller crowds if he doesn't play anymore gnr songs during his solo shows.

I don't think Aerosmith is able to sell out stadiums in Europe - at least not in the same league as GnR (otherwise they wouldn't have to play at DL). I would go anywhere in europe for a GnR/Aerosmith concert but I fear no promoter is crazy enough to book this (I guess you would need around 60.000 people with prices starting at 200 euros minimum) Best thing we can hope for is that both are playling close to the same city within a few days time and that we can hope for some guest apperences

I wonder why everybody thinks that DL UK would get gnr as headliner as no other festival in europe seems to have achieved that - I know the guy from download has talked personally with slash and axl on last years acdc concert in london but that was before the us leg has started and I guess since then the boys know that they don't need festivals to play in front of big crowds

Izzy has been in a great position to try to get as much money out of this as possible - he knew axl/slash/duff will reunite - he knew that adler woud be on board without negotiating for money - so he knew he would be the missing link for a full blown afd reunion -- but it seems like axl & co wouldn't want to pay that price and to be honest, when you have a look at the nitl tour - they got right (from a business point of view)

Rock in vienna and novarock are in competition...we all know.. but this is the first time novarock moves to3 rd weekend of june. Could be that gnr does a single show at the originally planned novarock date.. but my guess is novarock postponed to be able to have gnr there.. and novarock is the only venue where you have no issues with timetable ... in 2006 gnr concert at novarock began at midnight and ended 2.30 am 

Nova Rock has not enough budget to book gnr - they have spent all their money for david hasselhoff already

Rock in Vienna is always the first week in june - this year they had around 30.000 people attending the rammstain show there.

I don't think guns will play there - the festivalticket is around 99 euro(early tickets) for all 3 days -no chance they are able to book gnr

The rumored dates site says kriau rocks which is not rock in vienna - they had metallica there in 2013 i think - they expanded their solo concert to a one day festival back than but I think Kriau is too small (~30.000)

They will play either ernst happel stadium or they are using the infrastructe from rock in vienna and do a show AFTER rock in vienna at donauinselfest (like they did in 92)

Nova Rock in AT just moved their date from 2nd to 3rd weekend in June - maybe they don't won't to compete against a big rock concert in vienna on the 2nd week of june

Depending on the shedules it might be possible but I highly doubt that a small market like AT/Vienna could fill the stadium with stones/u2/gnr within a few weeks time where tickets are around 150 euro each.

It's too late for another greates hits album now anyway - it would have made sense to release it before the first leg of the NITL tour to reminde the casuals of all the hits and fill the US stadiums.

I fear the only release we will get (within the next 2 years) is a live DVD of the current tour.

A 30th anniversary tour for AFD wouldn't be a huge success without Adler/Izzy - all of the well known songs have been played on this current tour...

Would be a much better idea to do some small shows with the original five and also release it as DVD in 2018

I don't think the combo Axl/Slash/Duff is made for an arena act - all of them could make nearly the same amount of money by touring by themselves instead so I don't think this would ever happen - the more interesting question is how much people are still interested in Conspirators or NuGNR after they have seen the originals being back together....

Slash might still be succesfull on some level (as he has a lot of solo songs) but NuGNR in any form is bound to fail without Slash/Duff (if Axl should really decide to tour without them in the future)

I still don't believe that they are gonna play a lot of festivals in europe next year - there are only a handful of promoters who could afford that kind of money...

But thats a good thing as stadium dates are even better than festival shows - I guess it will be a similar run as the one AXL/DC did this summer in europe

Axl agreeing to sing Slither (in principal) is a far more curious step as Slash playing CD songs - as Slither has nothing to do with GnR in any way or form. Woud be great if axl would sing it on tour to show some respect to all what Slash/Duff did musically after they left guns.
