Yesterday Sebastian Bach has been added to the line up of the gnr day @ novarock.

I guess we will also get a "my michelle" duet here in austria

I´m gonna be there there too, will buy my ticket next week or so ( they won´t be sold out anyway, novarock´s never sold out completely)

I don't think they will send one ticket more by saying - "surprise" line up will play - cause everyone who wants to see guns will go there anyway.

So if this is from an official press release it is clear that the line up won't be the same as in 02. And as bucketheads slot is still open it has to be a lead guitarist. And there are just a few around who will make the line up special or a surprise - Zakk Wylde, Brian May or SLASH!!

So I think this is Axls Masterplan:

No announcement before the first warm up concert - because they will be sold out anyway. Axl and Slash (at least) back on stage and announcing that they will tour together this summer which will bring them huge media attention just 2 weeks before the euro tour starts. The date for this "warm up" concerts couldn't be better for such thing.

This will also be a great present for all the die hard US fans, for the fucked up 02 tour, who will see axl and slash back on stage together first.

Wednesday, 15 March 2006 Buckethead will not be touring with Guns N'Roses this year, according to his booking agent, Michael Weinstein.

YEAH! , they (whoever Axl is going to bring with him) are coming to the Netherlands!!!

NIJMEGEN - Guns N' Roses doet na een afwezigheid van dertien jaar op 2 juli Nederland weer eens aan. De wereldberoemde band van zanger Axl Rose treedt op in het Goffertpark in Nijmegen samen met Alice in Chains, Stone Sour en Bloodsimple.

De voorverkoopt begint zaterdag, zo liet concertorganisator Mojo woensdag weten. Guns N' Roses is bekend van nummers als Sweet child o'mine, November rain en Paradise city. Welke bandleden Axl Rose mee zal nemen naar Nijmegen, wordt later bekend gemaakt.

As dutch is similar to german I will try to translate:

Guns'n roses will play in the netherlands on 2nd of july. The world famouse band with singer axl rose will play at goeffertpark in nijmegen with alice in chains, stone sour and bloodsimple.

Tickets go on sale on ? says the local promoter. Guns'n roses is famouse for songs like swom, nr, pc.

The current line up of the group with singer axl rose will be annonced later.

So no real news in there except for the last sentence maybe...

I'm quite sure that we will see the album this year and also the band performing on all dates that have been confirmed until yet.

Here is a short story - in 2004 the guy who organzies NOVA ROCK now did the AERODROME Festival in and he told us that they offered him guns to play there - but he declined -> what a lucky guy

2 Years later the same person books gnr for NOVA ROCK - so it seems like the gnr management has a good argument that this time nothing like 2002 or 2004 will happen. I'm sure that otherwise we wouldn't have booked them
