I am not a musician at all...I take it you are saying there are only 3 notes in that intro?

Am I right to think the 1st 4 notes and the 7th and 8th are the same note?  and the 5th and 6th are a different note (slightly higher?)

I've never heard of those camps.  I'm happy here at Camp Sasha.  It's a cozy place situated in the Volkova mountains.   Breathtakingly beautiful I must say...  

GNR's definitely on my playlist at the gym.
..but I usually save music for when I'm on the treadmill for a long time.

I've got to say, Perfect Crime and Right Next Door to Hell live versions are great to watch whilst running on the ol' dreadmill.

People have been wanting CD to be more than it was since 2000.. Let that era die.. Move on.. It has been 16 years of Chinese Democracy.. It wasn't that good. Some people love it, many don't.. It is what it is.. Play a couple songs live if they really need to but don't waste time recording them again.. I don't mind the title track but  the other ones they have played they still sound like crap to me with maybe a better guitar solo.. I suffered through TIL the other night trying again to give it a chance and it still sucked but the Slash solo at the end was cool.

 

I guess to each his own...but TIL was one of my highlights from last night's show...except for Slash's new solo.  I'm just not feeling his take, but granted, I am very used to the studio cut and prior live performances.

Axl sang the hell outta TIL last night!!!

It was at the Download festival.  The song was Better, and yes, he was on fire!

Honestly, I don't think of AFD, Lies, or UYIs when I listen to CD (or vice versa).

I for one am glad GNR isn't AC/DC.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy me some AC/DC, but let's be honest, everything they do sounds verrry similar, don't ya think?

btw, Better was good, but I'm still all about the fan-made Madagascar vids (2 of them are really good, the 1st was by bessamk, I'm blanking on the 2nd one, the one with all the sad shots of kids in war-torn areas)

Oh yeah, This I Love had two that I really loved...the 1st had shots from What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams, which I should add fits the vibe of that movie PERFECTLY! and the latest was the one with the hot chick on the train. (speaking of which, is that footage from a movie I haven't seen? just curious)
