Yeah, it's an older stadium in rural PA. It is what it is. Only ~2 hours from where I live so well worth the trip for me. I'm definitely not going to East Rutherford lol

It was six for me each way. I wanted to see the first show of tour because I hadn't before. Well I was at Hammerstein but I can't remember if that was first or not. For two hours, you wouldn't have to get a hotel and you should be able to get in very cheaply through the box office or StubHub so hopefully it's a good show for you guys.

Hershey was the first show of the US leg 2 years ago and is the first show of the US section of the NA leg this tour. Pretty cool. There's A LOT of tickets still available too. Prices keep dropping. Does anybody know when the cut off is for purchasing tickets?

There is no cut off as far as I know. I was at that show and was able to get tickets from the box office during the opener. Probably cheaper there as well as I assume there are less fees. The venue is terrible for sightlines and the sound wasn't the best either. I went as a "tourist" from Western New York and spent the day before the show in the park but I wouldn't go back anytime soon.

It’ll never happen. Let’s face it.  I’d love to see the Appetite line up back on stage.  But it’s a pipe dream.

No it's not. People were convinced Axl and Slash wouldn't share the stage again. Money talks and the AFD 5 reunion card has yet to be played.

People laughed when Sixx brought up touring with Guns but if Live Nation wants it, it'll happen. I don't know how the tour is selling but Gn'R aren't going to continually get their $3-5(?) million dollar ask per show with sales like these.

This is 100% true. I've been friends with the some of the Steel Panther guys for a while, and remember a great story Russ Parrish told. He was teaching at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, walked into the auditorium and asked everyone if they knew how to play Eruption. They all raised their hands. He then mentioned that thousands of 15 year old boys in their parents garages are also playing Eruption. He told them to put their guitars down and learn how to write songs. Speed may boost your ego, but nobody outside of guitar nerds either care or want to listen to that. Songwriting ability and melody matter more than anything.

What songs has Fortus written on the level of More Than Words, Hole Hearted,Hip Today,Get The Funk Out,Rest In Peace or Rise?

Well, the telegraph was mean about Axl and apparently the love between him and Lana del Rey is long gone too.

Guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan still look the part of grizzled rockers who only function at night, but Axl Rose has not aged so stylishly, resembling a small-town hairdresser who has been working out too hard at the gym. The real problem was his singing, however.

His voice used to have a shrieking Banshee power but it has become kind of lumpy, with a toneless falsetto and a honking low range, and he switches between these modes with little apparent logic. His vocals were mixed way too loud, when, let’s face it, what everyone wants to hear is Slash unleashing overloaded solos containing every note on the scale, often all at the same time. Guns N’ Roses are frankly too good to be bad, but the best-received song was their heavy-handed version of Paul McCartney’s Live and Let Die, which sounded rather better when the great man himself played it in 2022.

    Fucking fantastic. Loved it.

But.....it made me even more pissed off that they won't do anything new. They were so damn good tonight.....what an absolute waste that they sound this amazing and just don't push it. All that talent!

Come on-;at least play the stuff we know you have waiting! Do it!

I know we're all industry experts but will they have another show with this much coverage? If there was a new album coming, I'm guessing this would have been the show to announce it? I'm a music nerd so I know of Glastonbury and looking at their schedule,it doesn't seem they'll have a more high profile show than this anytime soon .

I just assumed he thought it was only fair to pop a VR song in as they learnt the majority of CD over the years aside from ITW, Riad, Shackles and IRS.

As an aside, is anyone unable to get in to VR? As much as I've tried I just can't get excited about them, there's so e great tracks on the first album but it's all a bit generic modern rock to me? Maybe you had to be there at the time it came out.

Gn'R and STP are two of my top five bands so to me ,they were awesome. When he was on ,Weiland was one of the best front men I've ever seen live.  The last time I saw them, they put on a great two hour show.

Gee, I sure hope this is one of those predictions where they were wrong.

    (Because they've been wrong before:

    )

Because if that prediction isn't wrong,

    then what the hell!?

Where's all the material GnR had!?

All the recordings are just hoarded somewhere?

Did some failed-nerd accidentally wipe out all the recordings and the backup recordings too?

Not really a prediction, they are just going off record label contacts is my guess. Plans can change. Who knows how long it takes to gear up for an album release? Blink 182 (Yes,haha Blink, though right now they are a bigger touring act than Guns in the US) reunited last year , are on a huge tour and released a number one rock single last October with the full length album completed recently and due out this October.

So where are these "enough material to release 2 to 3 albums" lol

Who knows. I'm a music nerd so that's why I know of the HIL page. Clearly they have more information than the average fan. Also I have no idea how far in advance albums are on the labels schedule but we're halfway through the year already. I've always thought an album with the three union will come out,I guess just not soon.
