I was at that show and thought it was really good. It was the second time I have seen Axl happy. He was joking with the crowd.  thought it was really good.I

    Don't be a jacka$$

I apologize your lordship. I'll treat this thread with the respect it deserves. The correct answer is the new line of GnR scented candles and toy trucks is coming soon for a price anyone can afford.

Is there a "younger band" that would move tickets and fit in at a GNR show? I'd like to see Dirty Honey, Sometimes Y, The Cruel Intentions, etc. but aside from maybe Greta Van Fleet I'm not sure who would move a decent amount of tickets for a stadium show. Unless they went with a non-rock opener and got someone like Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, which I'd definitely buy a ticket for...

I shouldn't have said younger,I guess I mean an act that can move say 5,000 tickets or so on their own and that has fans that'd pay to see them even at Gn'R stadium prices. I doubt many people last tour were paying to see Wolfgang.

I got an email about the concert just now from LiveNation. Very interesting last line from the email. It says "Guns N' Roses will be unveiling more news and surprises soon. Get ready!" Could this mean new songs? LiveNation did not enter that line for the 2021 show at MetLife Stadium.

For ten grand you can fly GNAIR with Frank to the show of your choice .

would be cool to have SMKC and alterbridge as opening acts, then Guns .

Won't happen but I'm curious to see if they get a younger band that has a fan base that'll pay to see them open for Guns or if they just throw on someone like Dirty Honey that will not move any tickets.

To anyone that has already seen GNR, be strong. Save your money.

These shows aren't targeted towards us moreso the casual fan that wants to see SCOM and get drunk. That's who fills these stadiums, year after year not the .01 % that want to hear The General. For the vast majority of these dates in the US, you'll be able to get a ticket at or below face value the day of the show so if I can see my favorite band again , I'll most likely go.

I remember the Izzy negotiation was done when only Coachella, Mexico and the Vegas dates were on. Im not sure if the potential world tour was on the cards as they never said anything. I doubt Izzy wanted back in the partnership, I speculate he wanted same pay as the other 3 for the aforementioned gigs. But who knows, shame he never guested.

There's no way that the whole tour wasn't booked months in advance. Those may have been the only announced shows but you can't book NFL stadiums on short notice. If Coachella was announced in January, and the other dates in April, then the stadium dates were booked late 2015 or so.

    Not sure about that.

Anyway, Guns today is business, is a huge company is not only how good you play.

Music is subjective and while Brain and others may be better technically, Adler has the feel and enthusiasm for the AFD songs and it sucks that something he waited decades for (the three union) happened and he was barely allowed to participate. Whenever that final guns show happens,Izzy and Adler should take their rightful place on stage.

I don't want to spoil the fun, but I wonder what some of you are so excited about? another round of tour with the same shitlist after 6 years?

I'm not surprised about the casual fan mommy going to these gigs with tix bought by her 30 year old son for her b-day. It's nostalgic for her I understand.

But people at this forum still being excited? no I don't get it.

They aren't gonna tour forever. Then again, who knows. The Stones are on year 60.  I probably won't travel far anymore to see the show but if they come within an hour or two I'd go. I'd travel pretty far to see the AFD five as I've seen many lineups since 92 but not them.

The fact that the super deluxe edition doesn’t include everything, is ridiculous…

Well the only people that would spend hundreds on this are completists/hardcore fans. I guess the label figures they'll buy all the sets then.  From what I've read the AFD sets are now less than half of the original price so I'm not sure why anyone here is rushing out to buy these when they will most likely be heavily discounted in the future. I'm sure one of our insiders can let us know how many of each set are being made.

Stuff like this isn't for casual fans. A lot of die hards won't drop $500 on this either

That was my point. At $500 you have to include stuff that the hardcore fans haven't had in one form or fashion for 30 years. Will there be a few people that buy everything as they are complete collectors? Sure.  But if there are as many of these as the Locked and Loaded sets they'll probably end up at half price or less too at some point.

Well I've now seen it all. Beta signed an autograph?! And a huge cheer for Fortus. GnR could tour there for the next ten years and not need to release a single new piece of music.
