  1. There are 11PM cerfews at most arena's in North America. Check it out. They just usually fine the promoter if it goes later than that, so I guess GNR is expecting fines on every show for this tour :).

  2. Call me crazy, but most venues have 11PM cerfues. Wonder how they are going to pull off these sdhows if they start at 10PM. The source for this start time is the email sent out from htgth, which was forwarded from gunrnroses.com.

  3. We've heard November.

I've read they will release the album right before they head to Canada (Toronto on the 15th).

There have been several people that claimed HMV was releasing it on the 13th (one day ahead of the 14th because it is in the UK and thewy get all of their albums on the Monday instead of the Tuesday).

I might sound like another goon making a pointless thread, but I believe that this is the most likely release date and I'm looking forward too it.

There now talk shit about me for bringing it up at all, it is expected on this forum.

  4. I'm a firm believer that the musician should play what the fans want to hear. And in this case it is more new songs to give us a glimpse as to why we have waited so long for this album and not the same old cover songs. If I want to hear KOHD, I'll go see Dylan (I am in November). Most of the time fans don't want to hear new songs at concerts and they are often the lowpoint of the shows, but in GNR's case, that is what most of the "hardcore" fans really want to hear in 2006. Were paying a good amount of money to see them live, why not play the songs we want to hear? But in all fairness they don't play a straight setlist, there are some modifcations on important dates, like at Download. Even give us Chinese Democracy and TWAT more often and I'd be happy. I'm just a dreamer.

  5. I have to agree about the covers. As much as I love Live and Let Die live, they could do without it. And KOHD is the worst song in the setlist...especially at Download...haha. Their set is awesome, I'm not bashing it totally, I just expected something different on this tour because the band members made hints tha it could happen. Quite frankly, they should step up and admit whether or not Check mate is one of their songs, and if it they should play it live. That song clip hypes me up like the AFD shit did the first time I heard it.

  6. pretend for a moment that you never ever went on a gnr forum in your life. You wouldnt know the setlist for the 2002 tour unless u went to every show, you wouldn't know the setlist for the 2006 europe tour, you would have never heard better, irs, twat, the blues, maddagascar or chinese democracy. You would judge the show purely on what you see and you would be far from dissapointed by that setlist. Why should you flame gnr for your own mistake.

You have no clue buddy. I went to the 3 Eurotour shows this year as part pof my vacation to Europe. They were incredible, my only arguement to any of you that had negative things to say was that the band members said there would be changes. Then they play the show and there was essentially nothing special. I just really want some new tunes played and to hear Don't Cry and Civil War on this tour. don't think that is too much to ask for when I'm investing all this money to see GNR live.

  7. I hope this first show isn't and indication of what we will hear for the whole tour. We heard rumblings about Don't Cry and other new songs being added, and quite frankly I was fully expecting to see some "unnamed new song" as part of their setlist last night. Discuss...
