  1. I heard that 75% went in the first pre-sale.

There MIGHT still be tickets for general sale tomorrow. Ticketnazi is not saying that the show is sold out.

It can't be sold out as they only release a small amount of tickets on presales. It could be anywhere from 250-500 tickets, but I'm sure it isn't anymore than that (for each show).

  2. They were never available for the second presale. They must have had a set # of preslae tickets for both presales, and they all went dsuring the first one. I was there right on time and there was nothing.

  3. I also don't know which of the two passwords to use, which scares me cause if type the wrong of the two, then I lose. Help anyone? I know both of the passwords I just don't knowwhich one will work for the next presale.

  4. It isn't like the password was hard to figure out. It was rumoured to be that anyways, my question is, is it going to be the same one for the next presale. Somebody's got to know that already got tickets, please help me out, I'm not sobbing about missing it, just asking someone who knows and already got tickets to spread the love.

  5. someone on another music forum claims to have received an email with a password already

It has to be a fake, because they never give them away until the second the presale opens. Too add, I think this is going to be done through Live Nations site which is part of ticketmasters system even thought it won't be done through ticketmasters direct site.

My question would be are we going to get special tickets if we get the password, or will they just be regular ticketmaster tickets. Guess we will have to wait to see.

  6. I know I'm tired of reading through pages upon pages of posts to get the info so I thought I'd make it easier for the rest of you who don't want to do that.

    1. The presale is apparently being done through Live Nation. If you check their website you will see that they have shows scheduled for GNR at the Hammerstein Ballroom and that both of them have presales.

    2. The presale starts at 11:00 AM Eastern Time on Thursday April 20th and is only open for a timespan of 2 hours according to what I have read.

    3. http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/i...p?topic=28566.0

This was the link to access it, but as right now (noon April 18th) the registration for the presale lotery is closed.

    4. The decision on whether or not you are eligible for the presale is either going to be determined by lottery or by a person picking you based on how long you have been on the forums. I'd say likely it will just be a loterry because they have already eliminated those people that have signed up in the last week to take advantage of the presale.

    5. The password is going to be sent in an email to the people that are eligable at exactly 11:00AM. Not before. Some people have already received emails, but they aren't emails from the heretodaygonetohell forum, they are from Live Nation, and they are just to promote the concert...I think.

So as of now nobody has any further information that I am aware of. But if anything new does get posted, post here.

  7. Lets look at it this way:

Most if not all of the people on this forum are hardcore fans and even we are clueless about what is going on.

Just think of the millions of "casual" fans who would buy a concert ticket yet still are MAJORLY clueless about what the hell is going on with G N' R

I have talked to loads of these people who, believe it or not, still think Slash is in the band and have never even heard of buckethead. I guarantee you that at the new concert dates people are going to start bitching when they see the band walk out on stage i.e. - "Who the fuck are these guys, where is Slash?"

    Sad but true.

Its also sad that some of the dates are still not sold out. Can you even imagine that happening back in 91-92. Undoubtedly all this fucking about over the past decade has affected ticket sales. A bit of communication from Axl "might" actually be a positive thing, even if he doesn't think so. I feel sorry for the fans that are spending a lot of money and are nervous about the new tour due to the silence.

Just the way I see it. I might also point out that I am not against the new line up, the demos rock.

On the plus side for me, if they don't show up at the Euro shows, I at least get to see Metallica and Alice In Cahins a bunch of times, plus tons and tons of other bands that I love.

  8. Its NOT about hype.

Why the fuck should anyone tell us anything?? We are fans. We are NOT entitled to anything. We support what we are given and what we like.

Have some patience for fucks sake.

I, personally am lookin forward to WHATEVER Ax' delivers. I will like it regardless. If the demos are anything to go by the album and whatever will be the best music i've heard in years!

    Support him. rock3

In case you didn't notice, I didn't say anything about being impatient or going against Axl's decisions. I am merely stating the truth. The hype started up again for 3 reasons. 1. Leaked tracks, 2. Axl coming out of exile in NYC, 3. European tour dates. It is a classic way of building hype. To do all of that stuff in a month or so, and then go back into hiding, in my view, is just a way to get us to guess about what is going to happen, to keep people talking about GNR.

And you know what, sometimes fans are entitled to something. I'm spending thousands of dollars to go to Europe to see GNR, Metallica and Alice In Chains a few times, GNR is my favorite band, and I feel I deserve a little info. I don't think that is unfair.

  9. Why would the GNR camp be so in the dark about everything heading into the big European tour this summer? Easy. TO CREATE HYPE. Anyone who has been a fan of GNR and the new GNR for a long time would be able to see it. Why not let people assume the CD is coming out, even though it didn't come out the last time they toured (I was there at the Toronto show)? Why not let people assume that the original line-up is getting back together? We all know how unlikely it is, but not one person here can say it will never happen because we know that one day it will. GNR fans make up their own rumours and have been doing so forever, so why not let the fans create news and hype about the band, that's always a good thing to do. In the meantime, I'm flying to Europe on May 29 to see them 3 times at Rock am Ring, Download and Novarock this year, so for me, it doesn't matter who performs as long as they show up. Would I love to see the Use You Illusion line-up on this tour, fuck ya, but I'm grounded enough not to get my hopes up. Rant over.
