  1. So who's gonna record it. Whoever does, make a torrent out of it and put it on mininova please. I've been waiting a long time for this bootleg. Also, anyone know if they are planning on doing the same with Tool anytime soon?

  2. Ya know it is pretty funny that Izzy is back with GNR right now. I mean at least we know that the old GNR members are now friends of friends of Axl, make any sense :)? Izzy I think helped VR write Contraband and now he's touring with GNR. I think if there is ever a chance of an original GNR reunion, Izzy will be the man to bring it all together. Don't you all agree?

  3. first off, Papa Roach isn't going EMO, they've said they're making songs like Queen, Def Leppard, 80s Hair bands.

I want the opener(s) to be Avenged Sevenfold and Buckcherry, that tour would kick ass! I WILL FINALLY see them for the first time in my life regardless.

"I tear my heart open, and sew myself shut, my weakness is that I care to much"

"My scars remind me that the past is real, I tear my heart open just to feel"

IF THAT ISN'T EMO THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS!

I saw a lot of responses, and here is my input:

    Aerosmith (Touring with Motley Crue)

    Motley Crue (Touring with Aerosmith)

NIN (Going on extended break after this summer ends and it would never happen!)

    Shinedown (Maybe)

QOTSA (Not too big to open for GNR, were supposed to open for VR amd Jet on the 2005 tour)

Muse (Not too big in North America yet, and would be a great fit)

Kid Rock (Buddy's with Axl...that'd be cool)

AFI (Planning a outr right now and have released solo headlining dates)

    Nevermore (Meh)

    Mars Volta (Touring with RHCP)

Bullets & Octane (First band I don't know about)

Avenged Sevenfold (wouldn't cancel Canadian arena shows to tour with GNR, but may join the tour after)

Kill Cheerleader (GN'Fn'R4LIFE!!! is right, jump on the bandwagon now, cause they are way too cool to stay small for long)

C'mon AIC, Kill Cheerleader, QOTSA, or Muse! Haha.

  4. This guy just used a bunch of facts to try to prove a poin t that doesn't exist. What is his primary arguement, that the theme's of popular music changed from Party, Party, Party, to lyrics about self loathing and being an emo kid because of Guns N' Roses and Metallica. He has no clue what he is talking about, especially in regards to the bands he dislikes, like Tool. He couldn't be farther from the truth while talking about Tool. The only thing he got bang on was how important Alice In Chains were and how every shit band like Nickelback today owes them a great deal. I dissagree with everything else.

  5. Muse.

You are right man. They are one of the best touring bands out there today. I saw them in Toronto on the 31st of July and it was amazing. I can't wait until September when I get to see them again!

  6. Buckcheery, don't know how I missed him when I was going through my list of bands on Winamp! Haha. He'd be an awesome fit!

Meh to Silvertide. They were cool the first time I saw them opening for VR, but the other times I saw them were boring, like when they opened for Van Halen.

  7. "I see you standin' there, you think your so cool"

"Why don't you just. FUCK OFF"

I don't care what anyone says, when they play It's So easy and Axl puts up the middle finger, the setlist fits the attitude. I see where you are coming from because it isn't the same as before. But we all know that already, so let's talk about the positive's! :)

  8. Sure there are plenty of bands that could end up being the opener. It could be anyone as we learned in 2002 with Mixmaster Mike and CKY. I mean there are plenty of bands riding on current or upcoming radio hits right now such as:

Avenged Sevenfold (Doing a Canadian Tour before September 23)

Trivium (Touring with Maiden in the Winter)

Powerman 5000 (Hope it isn't them but they would be available)

Papa Roach (Prepping for a tour...going EMO...)

Disturbed (Supposedly doing the Jager tour again in the states)

Queens Of The Stone Age (Writing right now..no current plans)

Army Of Anyone (Releasing a new album soon...Axl and the Deleo's...take that VR! :)

Stone Sour (No plans after Family Values tour)

HIM (Nothing that I know of yet)

Kill Cheerleader (Not a chance but it should be them)

Muse (Great band that is busy, but they are fucking cool, so I mentioned them)

Three Days Grace (Tour Ends in early September)

    Wolfmother (Could be...hope not)

The Panic Channel (Navarro's new band, he likes GNR...who knows)

Or they could pick a great older band like:

Alice In Chains (If this happened I'd go to every show)

Sebastian Bach (Of course it is possible, but I saw him in Europe and I'd rather see something different)

The Cult (Not touring, could bring back one of the greatest tours ever)

When it comes down to it, I have no clue who could be opening, but these are just a bunch of possibilities. All I can say is it better be something good because last time around was rough, in other words no Mixmaster Mike again. In my opinion QOTSA, Alice In Chains, Army of Anyone, or Kill Cheerleader would be great choices.

Anyways, comment on bands you'd like to see open, who knows maybe they'll take it into consideration.

  10. Here is what they should start to play:

    CIVIL WAR

    Don't Cry

    Dead Horse

    There Was A Time

    Chinese Democracy

Those are a few great tunes that were absent from the European Tour for the most part. (Don't Cry Solo was good but not as good as the actual song).

Civil War is my favorite song and I'd love to have them play that for a change.

If they were going to pull out an unexpected tune, Don't Damn Me would definately be cool.

  11. Good work, I didnt read it all but I got the gist of it. It was a great tour, and even though at times, it appeared it was going to fall apart (Download) it managed to be a great tour. Congrats to the new GNR for getting it right this time, and thanks to Axl for showing up to the 3 shows I went to.

  12. There is a song of the same name from a guy named Jack Radics. Could be him. Whatever it is, somebody just took the song and then put some fast guitar over it on their own computer.

  13. I was at the GNR Toronto show, but no the London one. That was before I got heavy into the shows. One of you guys said you were going to the Dyaln show. That's rad, if I had a ride, I'd so be there. Hopefully he adds a Canadian date. But seriously, I'm spending everything I earn on the shows right now, I can't keep up. I just hope GNR isnt on the same day as something else that I already have booked!
