Either way, he was correct... people heard music.
-
You hit the nail right on the head... you're an asshole.
-
I want as much new music as possible too... I'd just like at least CD, The Blues, and Madagascar on the disc... I think those three tracks in the studio have great potential
-
I'd be disappointed if Madagascar didn't make the CD.
-
I think thats the main positive- I'm not disappointed. I like the music... I'm not gonna say its the best music ever created, but Axl put himself in a position where he basically had to create said music to "live up to expectations"... these songs are really good. Unfortunately the elusiveness of it is going to hang overhead like a dark cloud... I'm taking it for what it is, not what it could be, should be, or any of that. Its good, quality music.
-
Its hard for ANYTHING to be worth this long of a wait, and honestly... these aren't. However, its very, very good music. "TWAT" is a very good song. I like IRS. I an undecided on "Better" yet until I hear the full version.
I still prefer "Madagascar" to all of these songs, and feel "The Blues" is on par with TWAT.
-
TWAT is the best of the three songs thusfar. Axl's vocals sound the best, the guitar work is the strongest, and the orchestral arrangement in the background adds a lot to the track. The drums sound the strongest too... Not sure if it is still a drum machine, but it doesn't sound as much like one.
-
I'm all for any more leaks... Its not gonna prevent me from buying the album. I'm buying it regardless.
-
Am I correct in saying there are five leaks now?
- IRS (4:16)
- Better (1:20)
- Better (2:06)
- TWAT (6:01)
- TWAT (6:43)
By my count, yes. Thats all I have.
-
You, and the rest of us have been tortured long enough. Consider this a treat.
Great music stands the test of time anyway. As a fan, you're buying the album regardless... The Appetite tracks are nearly 20 years old... just because I've heard them 100's of times, does that mean they're "ruined" for me. No. They're great. If you like the songs, you're gonna listen to them regardless.
I don't have a gun to your head here... but if you want to hear it, just say the word.
-
The past 48 hours have left their mark on rock history, regardless of whether or not the album ever comes out. Hopefully Axl uses this as motivation.
-
As I said before... if you expect me to believe that anyone here has willingly not listened to these demos... you're a fucking liar. You're as curious as the rest of us, pal... you've probably listened to them as much or more than most of us.
-
It has already been said that the song is 5:06
-
I think a band member, past or present is behind the leaks.
-
Better is actually my least favorite of the three thusfar.... I need to hear the whole thing to fairly judge it.
-
I hope shit keeps leaking until that braided idiot breaks his silence... thats what I hope. If he doesn't say anything after this, he has some serious problems. What more promotion do you need... this is all over the media. Radio stations are playing it... its all over tons of internet forums, and sites. When are you gonna wait, until nobody cares again... GnR is huge right now. The album has to be released, and soon.
-
He spites himself more than he spites us by not releasing an album. He has a potential #1 record in his hands, and he's gonna can it because a few tracks leaked? Go ahead, buddy.
-
-
And if you say you haven't downloaded the tracks, you're a fucking liar.
-
-
No, if anything we should be sending "There Was A Time"... "I.R.S." is a poor representation of the current state of the band... "TWAT" is really strong... THIS is what people should be hearing.
-
Absofuckinglutely. Spread the word.
TWAT has to be heard by many, many people... it is the best piece of music Axl Rose has recorded in over 15 years.
-
Seriously, would it take Axl, or management or anyone involved with the band THAT much effort to post an official release on the GNROnline site...
"Thank you for the outpour of positive support, blah, blah, blah."
(Release date)
Is that too much to ask. All things considered, the fans have been very patient.

Easy, the picture of that neon pink twat that people are obsessing over.

So in that case, T.W.A.T. is going to be played heavily in March, because I think it is Axl's ode to the McDonalds Shamrock Shake.
