Did I ever say the music was bad? Its good. Its not "groundbreaking" "amazing" or "great" or some of the other terms people have thrown around, but its good. The main positive is that its music. Something Axl has forgotten how to make for over a decade.

I am sick of people coming down on the management, he is doing what Axl pays him to do, think you could do better? It is his job to say that, if he didn't it would be pretty shitty, now just cause he said it to madison dosent mean all websites must listen, that is a choice of each plac. Mygnr has chosen to remove it, in a way this could be good for the forum as the band will know they can trust people here....

Thanks for what? The only people I feel the need to thank are wes, and the other guy who's name escapes me that were resposible for something positive last night. All Merck has done is taken away the little ray of hope that we all thought we had. He's a piece of garbage... you're just too stupid to see it.

God forbid some fans want to listen to some average at best songs. Get over the excitement of the first new studio music from this band in seven years. Is it listenable? Sure, but its not the "greatest thing ever" as some of you fucking dolts have said.

You know, I was excited too. I thought it was a step in the right direction, a step towards perhaps bigger things. But its not. Its another farce, another leak that wasn't supposed to happen. How Axl has to crawl back to his cave, sulk, and throw a pity party while he whacks off for another year or two.

I'm listening to the songs. I have them, if anyone else wants them, I'll give them to them as well. Enough of the bullshit. The fans of this band have suffered long enough to be dicked around time, and time again. The only regret I have is that the dingbat who leaked them in the first place didn't leak the rest of what he has.

It seems like this Merck guy only comes crawling out of the woodwork when there is a threat to be made. Management isn't only there to threaten poor, helpless fans. They are also there for promotion purposes, relaying the positive stuff about a band, and an upcoming album. Something there has been nothing of. So shove the threats of legal action up your ass, Merck.

Music is meant to be heard. Its unfortunate that this is the way it had to be heard, but regardless... it was heard. Its all over the net, in places Merck will never even find it if it bit him in the ass. Howard Stern played it, and this tool expects people to just delete it, and pretend it never even happened. It happened, and the reaction to it has been about 85% positive, even from sources like Metal-Sludge who rag on Axl every opportunity they get.

I know I'm going to get blasted for ragging on your braided hero, and thats fine. I've been banned from half a dozen GnR forums for stating things that some people are too chicken shit to say. I love Axl, and the band(new and old) as well, but I'm not gonna suck the dick of a man who has given nothing to society for 13 years.

What bad can come, no album? We have already had that for how many years. Only good has already come from them. Even people at Metal Sludge who rabidly hate Axl have positive opinions of the songs.

Music is meant to be heard. The songs do no good sitting around where no one can listen to them. Maybe you'll all be good lap dogs, and not share them... I'm not deleting them, and plan on spreading the word big time. I've already shared it with hundreds... if Axl doesn't like it, tough shit. I don't hate Axl. I just adress both his good and bad points because I am realistic about the guy and not just sunken into his good side only.

I am new, but I respect you for that if its the case. I have been banned from a handful of GnR forums for the same opinions, basically for not sucking Axl's dick. At times I love the guy, at others its hard not to dislike him. He is human though, and has his problems. I think the only thing everyone wants from him is some new music. These recent leaks have proven nothing than the fact that his last 13 years of existance have been a waste of talent.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I think its just the excitement of hearing new studio music for the first time in seven years. I don't blame you, the two songs rock, the intro to IRS really has me hooked, and "Better" is really good as well. However, if he released new music with the old band, the same excitement would be there. I wish him nothing but the best regardless of what he decides to do, I just want to hear new music.

If he flipped out and trashed quality music over two leaks, I give up on him. Seriously, if he'd just release a damn album, there would be no need for leaks. Its clear that he still has the ability to make great rock music, now he should finish putting that ability to work.
