Kinda strange Bach is doing this tour, must be getting paid well to do it.

That's not a bad song, but it's not Metallica.
The singer definitely has a Hetfield vibe about him, but he sounds more like Pepper from COC. And the intro is totally not Metallica.
I did some checking, and it turns out the band is called Am I Blood.
Yeah, I found that out as well, im now downloading their three albums
Ive heard two songs by this group, and they are both awesome. You can definitely hear the Metallica influence.
-
Is this one of the songs on this album?
Metallica - Gone With You (Supposidly)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=2e8QOZ4YF5s&feature=related
I dont know, this song is awesome, and it sounds a lot like Metallica.

I hope its out this year but i dont think it will be.
You know its bad when statements like this are made in January

You still havent explained how people who plan on buying the album is "stealing" it. What exactly are they stealing? Previewing an album that leaks early before they buy it when it is officially released, WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY STEALING? You just keep sorting through posts and commenting on just the things that you think are helping your argument, and just ignoring points people are making.
You can have your opinion on leaks and people downloading and not buying the album, but I think you are an idiot for calling people who plan on buying the album "thieves" when they arent stealing anything. Someone downloads the album early, they listen to it until the album is officially released, then they delete the downloaded one and they go out WITH MONEY, and they BUY the album. So again, what exactly have they stolen? Nothing, absolutely NOTHING.
I give Taco Bells a shitload of cash, but I am not gonna grab food off the counter when nonone is looking. I just cant see it man. What the hell does that mean?THATS stealing, and has nothing to do with my point. Reread my post, nowhere did I say it was ok to take food and not pay for it.
-
If you plan on buying the album when its released, then you are NOT stealing it, genuis, you are previewing it. Stealing it would be downloading it and not buying the album when its released and just burning a copy and being done with it.
Thats like when you go out to eat, you dont see people getting accused of stealing the food because they eat their meal before they pay for it, do you? If you eat and then skip out on the bill, THATS stealing, but just because you enjoy your meal before you pay for the check, its NOT stealing.
Same thing applies with albums, just because the record company didnt ok the leak, doesnt mean someone is stealing for previewing it. You talk about people calling you names but yet you call EVERYONE theives even if they plan on buying the album, and in ER's case he is going to buy two albums.

Its not stealing if you plan on buying the album when its officially released, you are just previewing it early.

Is Gunzen really this brainwashed or is it an act? Please someone tell me.
Im starting to believe its an act, its hard to believe anybody could be this bad, but I could be wrong.
-
To be fair, Gunzen already acknowledged that he downloaded the leaks, and said he believes GN'R may have leaked them intentionally to promote the tour. (He said that in this very thread.) I'm not one to defend Gunzen very often but he did say this in one of his first posts in this thread. I think people misread what he was saying as that he had downloaded bootlegs of live songs - he meant he had the demos of the new live songs that were played, like TWAT and IRS and Better.
Ok, gotcha. So when/if Chinese Democracy leaks, im going to say that I believe the band leaked the album intentionally so that it gives me a reason to download it. Guess that would be a good excuse as any to "steal" from the artist, as Gunzen would put it. And as long as you have a good excuse why you did it then you are clear of any wrong doing.
-
When it comes out, I'll buy it.
When it leaks, I'll download it.
I'd be very surprised if any members of this forum would sit around with their fingers in their ears while the rest of us enjoy/discuss the new tunes we've waited a decade or so to hear.
I wont, and not because I am a "honest guy" but because fuck all the guys who cheat, steal and make it harder for me and my family. If it leaks it will be close, ill just wait. But hey, go ahead, the world need thieves too.
So I assume you've never heard the studio versions of The Blues, I.R.S., Better, Chinese Democracy and Madagascar?
After all, just because they've played them live doesn't mean you're not a 'thief' if you've downloaded the studio versions that are owned by the band/record company.
I guess I've really made things harder for Axl, burning copies of those songs for friends who subsequently went to the 2006 shows and will now buy the album if he ever chooses to release it. And as for Rolling Stone, Classic Rock, and all those magazines that reviewed the leaks and gave GNR free press which they subsequently cashed in on with the same tour, well, I guess they'll all burn in hell too. Nevermind the fact that without leaks, interest in this album would have waned years ago.
So cry me a river. If Axl wants my money, he can put out the damn CD, and he'll get it. If it leaks, great, I'll be the first to download it. He's dangled this album in front of our noses like a fucking carrot on a stick for long enough. Perhaps if he didn't treat his fans with a mixture of contempt and indifference, it would be a different story.
I don't see him offering to reimburse fans who've booked hotels, transport and tickets when he decides to cancel dates at last minute to do recording sessions that never happened, or because the fire marshals are 'out to get him'. I don't see him arranging transport for people who are stranded because he came onstage 3 and a half hours later than stated on the ticket.
Clearly he has no qualms about wasting fans time and money, so anyone who takes some of that time and money back by downloading the album early (should the option be available)? Good for them. It's a little late in the day for Axl Rose to get on his moral high-horse, particularly where 'honesty' is concerned.
Great post, now maybe Gunzen will shut the hell up (I doubt it though)

I did a search and didnt find a thread about this.
Here is the new video from Sebastian Bach "(Love Is) A Bitchslap"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsQ8eB22RhU
A guess I can see why he didnt use the version with Axl since this is a live performance, but I'd still rather hear the one with Axl.
-
That is pretty damn sweet, any chance of getting an mp3 of this?
-
Everything else on the album is mediocre but good.
wtf
Yes?
Im saying the rest of the songs are just average but I like them. Solid rock songs but nothing special or great.
Mediocre doesnt mean bad, it means not great, which is why I said they were just "good".
-
After my first listen through im really liking this album. Its nothing groundbreaking, and its pretty average but I still really enjoyed it. Not really a bad song on the album, but my favorites are
- All Three songs with Axl are great. Not only because of Axl being on them, they are just really good songs. Axl sounds great though, makes me want CD just that much more.
- Other highlight songs for me are Stabbin Daggers and American Metalhead (very simple song but it fucking rocks, love it)
- And I actually like Falling Into You better than By Your Side. By Your Side is a good song, but its VERY average, thought I would like that one more.
Everything else on the album is mediocre but good. All in all im happy with this release.
-
I downloaded a retail rip earlier (Going to buy it at the end of the week when I get paid), listening to it now.
-
I'd like to hear this as well
-
He has played Picture everytime I saw him headline, only time he didnt was at Summer Sanitarium when he only played a few songs.
-
Ive seen him a few times and he puts on a great show, one of the best ive ever seen.
He does usually have strippers onstage (He has everytime ive seen him), but they never get naked or show their tits, they just dance around a poll in a bra and thong/panties.
-
I listened to them for the first time in years the other day, and I agree, they are pretty good.
I always liked them, but I got burned out by them for awile, especially Stapp's vocals.
If you havent checked it out you should get the new album from Alter Bridge called "Blackbird" (you probably know, but if you dont thats all the members of Creed minus Scott Stapp), its fucking awesome.
-
Damn they do sound great.
I really like this new album, it took a few listens but it grows on you and now I cant stop listening to it.
-
It seems like the main GnR forum is flooded with Bach threads. I was told that I should post in the old members section just because I hate Bach's shitty fucking music, which doesn't make sense to me. Is Bach a member of GnR now? Anyway, I figured I'd start a thread for people who hate Sebastian Bach and his association with Axl and GnR. I'm not the only person on here who hates that lughead, am I? Are we a "Joe Dirt" forum now?
Oh, and Baz is awesome!
-
Just to let everyone know that wasnt on last night, the DJ on the radio made it very clear that this was the "new" version of the song that featured Axl Rose, so everyone assumed (me included) that they were in fact going to play the new version.
I dont know whats going on and why they played the old version but I guess we will get to hear the new one in a couple weeks or so.
-
Its just strange that the radio played that song, and this site has the same exact song up.

The one from this site sounds like CD Quality, so where did they get it if its not the one with Axl on it?
