How can it be 'dangerous' and 'frightening' when three plastic cups were thrown on stage?!

It may start with bottles and cups. But if people are happy to throw shit, whats to stop them throwing more dangerous things like rocks, stones, e.t.c?

That said, if a cup/bottle full of water is thrown and hits a guitar, amplifier, pyro, basically something electric or dangerous, the situation could get dangerous from objects seemigly as small/harmless as those.

No matter how late they are, theres no excuse for throwing shit at the band, or any band frankly. If you're not happy, then leave. Better still, don't go in the first place, especially if you know GN'Rs reputation granted not everyone does)

I agree with everyone that things should not have been thrown. I think Axl is amazing and just wanted to see a great show.

However saying that the atmosphere was so dangerous that the band couldn't go on was not true.

Well all the fun ends when people throw bottles...to be honest the late starts suck and most likely GnR has a huge impact if the mood in the crowd turns bad. But throwing bottles at the stage just sucks and I can 100% agree to what Guns did. People throwing shit on the stage should be punched in the face by their fellow fans....A couple of years ago Axl would have caused a riot.

Too bad that the tour has all this bad publicity all over Europe now....it started after the festival incidents and continues...but maybe otherwise Guns would not have that much media exposure,so who knows?

Anyone got some info about this? It was just 10 seconds so way too short to actually notice much, maybe they just changed the mix a little or tuned...

It is very nice that both Bumble and Reading both confirmed that the tour is taking place....WHY THE FUCK DON`T THEY BLOODY TELL ON FACEBOOK which is according to them the "official" place for info for the fans!? They don`t even have to use Twitter, use bloody Facebook....How is it that apparently they are able to talk to Promoters and Webmasters and Bumble but they can`t fucking tell their fans who bought tickets, airplane travel and hotels on their prime communication channel?

This is not me bitching or thinking about how Axl owes me, this is just me worrying about my vacation and money!

I don`t really know why it makes a band dangerous because they are unable to organize their tours / cancelations in a decent way. This is not dangerous this is just straight annoying.

People can believe whatever they want, but I'm amazed if anyone thinks that if a rep for Axl/GNR phones Twitter headquarters and says "Hey, Axl's account has been hacked, someone's saying our tour's canceled and we could lose tens of thousands of dollars if you don't fix it" that the tweet still wouldn't have been removed 3 days later.

And if Guns are so sure that the shows are going ahead, why is there nothing on their official Twitter page stating that.

Hmm atleast to me it would give a better feeling about my plane tix to the UK in October to see them...

This whole thing is just fucked up...They do not seem to realize how much damage it does to leave it open like this....It should not be too hard to fix this unless they can`t reach Axl to know what it is all about! As far as everyone says: "It is all good, Reading were contacted by GnR Management so the Tour is still on....." First of all I am not going there so I don`t care about Reading, second of all the whole way it has been handled so far it tells me only that (most likely) Del was contacted who had (apparently) no idea what anyone was talking about so he said: "yeah, as far as I know the tour is still on...:" and after that he tries (obviously without sucess) to call Axl to know what it is all about....

I am a huge Gunners fan and I know that we can`t expect too much information and I am very happy how much more info we get now than before. But anyone who agrees with the way this incident is handled must be a very optimistic person. I bought tickets and arranged travels for 3 different shows, planned a vacation and all I get to know is "hang in there for an indefinite period of time we will propably tell you". I reckon like most fans I am not 19 anymore, I have a serious job without money and time to waste; all I want is to see the band I love and care about. Didn't the Guns camp contact the Reading/Leeds organisers and say that GN'R are still playing the festival and the other UK dates? I take that as confirmation.
