But not for wearing the jacket back then. People didnt bat an eyelid about it. I think it was still acceptable to wear it back then. Culture nowdays i guess is just different.

What next, if tv in the US does any reruns of the dukes of hazzard they will have to censor the confederate flag off the General Lee?.

The Dukes of Hazard has already been banned from reruns because of the car.......so yeah they will have to blur it out to get back on tv.

Everyone has different views of all the members solo stuff.. That aside... are you saying you don't like any of his contributions to Guns N' Roses? Because that would be laughable...

I'm saying its laughable that people think he contributed so much to gnr's music or success.

But if you can't tell already,  he is my least favorite. :P

Even if it means the show is only 90~ minutes?

The 3.5 hour shows are too much tbh. I'd prefer a shorter show that utilized his lower voice, with the raspy songs sprinkled throughout where he goes 'Axl/DC' mode. Maybe bring back You Ain't The First, Bad Obsession, Sorry, Down On The Farm etc. and go all-out on the hits and Locomotive, Dead Horse and Nightrain. Wichita Lineman and I Feel Good were great additions to the set honestly, and they seemed fairly easy for him to sing. They could have a great 90-120 minute show if they built it around Axl's current voice.

The Mickey voice gets on my nerves. Imo there is no reason to sing that way, it just sounds stupid.  Sing in a lower voice cleanly if it hurts to rasp.

I would love it if there were some way for GNR to put out a record and no one have any idea who's playing what. It'd be interesting to see what honest opinions people had if they couldn't rely on the biased "this person or that person isn't GNR" crutch.

I don't know who plays what on all the albums they released.  I don't really care. I either like the song as a whole or I don't. The Chinese era people were all great for whatever they contributed musically.  It was only the stage get up that was embarrassing for some in my opinion. Great post by the way.

I agree. I am a huge Slash fan but the hat has become cheesy as hell... It has lost its charm and is cartoonish as @El Guapo said.. The Ball caps and Beanies he wears look better anyway... He doesn't have to toss it, but just war it occasionally or just during the encore..

Nah! I wear mine everywhere I go.

I would  laugh  my ass off if he came out with a DJ Ashba hat on.

Or a KFC bucket and yellow jacket.

Embrace the hat servants! Its iconic!

I wouldn't call it filler, it'd be in my top 10, possibly top 5 from both UYI sets. And the band obviously don't see it as a filler, seeing as it's the opening track... who opens an album with a filler song?

Axl did a stella job nailing SOYL on the last leg, so I don't see why he couldn't pull off RNDTH.

I'm every down on Axl nowadays.  He is brilliant in the studio but so hit and miss, usually miss, live. The filler comment doesn't mean I do not like the song, but live......no. Just another disappointment waiting to happen. He is embarrassingly bad live.

    That's my rant......peace!

Why hire Beta as his PA in the first place, then? Beta said she became the band’s manager in 2011 cause she threatened to quit if another real manager was hired, iirc.

EDIT: found the article where she said that: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/la-xpm-2011-dec-21-la-et-12-20-axl-rose-interview-20111221-story.html%3f_amp=true

Do you look up facts and investigate every  joke you read?
