Soooo, if he sings this live Mickey Mouse will merge with Looney Tunes.

You mean there's a girl in the brand?

I have a 4k tv. No matter if I play dvd or bluray it looks awesome. I haven't tried the new 4k discs yet though.

Uhhh! I've got nothing.

I really dont get tribute albums. I am at a loss of words for how bad they all suck.

Thanks Axl, for doing the first smart thing in 20 years by calling Slash.

Is Mickey Mouse on there? He's got a 90th anniversary celebration this year to.

Dumbest group of dumb fuckers ever to set foot in a popular band.

Would you prefer Donald Duck? At least he can do the rasp correctly.
Yes, Yes. Donald is the direction I'm looking for. They had a 90th year celebration for Mickey on tv a couple of weeks ago, I can't believe they didn't invite Axl to sing.

Or Rocket Queen. Or YCBM. Or almost every CD song minus the title track and the occasional passable performance of Better.
If that fucker sings like Mickey Mouse on a studio album I'm done with them.

I gotta disagree with most of you in regards to the potential live album. While I DO agree it would be cool of they started releasing every show (so we could get the shows we actually went to), it is Guns after all, lol.
So I personally would RATHER have a quality product with minimal (or no) overdubs. Which I think that's more than possible if they take the BEST performances from each song, from the whole tour. Let's be real here, the Apollo show has some amazing moments and some less than stellar. The Forum show is better overall imo, but it also has some weak moments. I dont think (we) the fans, benefit from weak songs/moments on a live album.
The last two live albums I purchased (because I didn't buyAppetite for Democracy, no thanks) was Zeppelins O2 performance and Van Halen Tokyo Dome. Let's be honest here, both of those are pretty weak imo, and I NEVER listen to them. I DO listen to a couple of tracks off of Tokyo Dome, but most of it is just painful. The Zepplein concert is ok, I suppose. But IMO it's the WORST Zeppelin "offcial" release you can buy, worse than Coda even. I dont like the tuned down versions of the songs, plus it lacks the magic of real Zeppelin. I would rather listen to How the West Was Won or my boots, than O2.
So when it comes to Guns, I dont want a crap live album like those. I dont think anyone really wins with those. I'm POSITIVE that if they listen to multiple concerts they "felt good" about, they can pick the best versions from those, and they will be pretty good. I would actually listen to that, and enjoy it.
Half of the Appetite songs from the Apollo show are not that great, but Better and some others were GREAT. The Appetite songs are pretty good on the Forum show, but some of the CD songs (Prostitute especially) are weak.
Quality over quantity imo.
I don't think they could find a good paradise city if they searched through the entire tour.

I highly doubt that band will ever exist again. Sons of Apollo has better music, which is also probably more engaging to play and write. They also have more popular members with bigger shows. Theres essentially zero reason for Art of Anarchy to exist anymore
They could do it for me.

If this band does anything at all.... Believe me, it will be the dumbest choice available. They have always tripped over dollars picking up nickels.

Any mention of Art of Anarchy? Or the legal issues with Scott Stapp?

The reason Axl doesn't have a relationship or marriage is because porn is free.

If it were nuGNR they would have had to cancel the show. Could you imagine Ashba trying to fill in for Axl's sickness? Nobody would have a gave a damn about watching him jam away.

I went and bought the album and celebrated by eating at a chinese restaurant. I have always liked the album, would take 5 more just like it.

Thank god for your post. I listened and I thought "omg, this is horrible!" and all the comments were like "Best GnR cover ever!" I thought I had a massive stroke and went to hell.
Im not even joking. Weird AL could make a better cover than this.

Not to turn this into a Bon Jovi discussion since this is GNR, but Jon's voice wasn't shot when I saw Bon Jovi perform in May of this year. Now it's true that Jon can't hit the high notes anymore like he did back in the day, but his voice was actually good.
I find it funny how fans and in Jon's case media state that both Axl's and Jon's voices are shot when that's not the case.Yep, thats why I'm not gonna argue with this person.

Bon Jovi toured extensively in the mid 90's and throughout the 00's, last I heard his voice sounds shot.
He doesn't sound like Mickey Mouse.

If Slash quit GNR again would the brand survive?

Wouldn't Axl be painted as an ass again if he and Slash had another falling out? I wonder if Axl thought of this when calling Slash years ago. I know he probably doesn't need the money anyway, but sometimes its hard to give up on what you have been doing your whole life. I'd say GNR's future is in Slash's hands now more than Axl's. What do you think?
