Also, did anyone become a FAN of GNR because of CD? I believe that 97% of GNR fans are fans because everything that happened in AFD and UYI era, so yes, give me the damn reunion.

I'm finding it funny that people are listing Pitman as a relevant part of any form of a reunion.

There is another one on that smame channel that is Axl Slash and Dizzy talking about a funny moment from one of the UYI shows (possibly right after the show) and another one where they are just waiting for their bags at an airport and Axl is just sleeping there (I thought he traveled separate from the band, maybe this early in the tour)

Quick question, Adler was officially fired on July 1990, however the UYI recording sessions started on Jan 1990. Did Steven actually take part of the writing/performing of the UYI songs?

I know he recorded Civil War, but I wonder how Estranged sounded with him, or YCBM.

Oklahoma -- I thought he messed up mostly on Civil War but I just went back and it was fine..lol.. i must have been drunk. However Mr. Browstone has a major mess up at the beginning (I think it was Matt's fault).

Hmm not sure, Duff was off that show, lots of mess ups. At the very beginning of the song you can tell he completely off tempo

I just finished watching both of these shows, Chicago might have been one of the top shows of the whole UYI tour. A couple of interesting things I had not noticed:

- WTTJ wasn't played in Oklahoma. Weird, maybe they just completely forgot.

- Axl wanted to play Coma, but crew forgot to play the heartbeat. (Oklahoma)

- Is there any word who/how they stole these two shows from the video crew?

- There was a second night in Chicago but got cancelled, probably we would have gotten that show as well.

Without AFD there would be no GNR, Bumblefuck, etc etc. He didn't participate in any of the albums and plays AFD material like it is his.

Back to the original question:

It looks like a TV station shot it since they are right in the front row. 25:56 has Axl with a laser pointer pointing at the camera.

All those shots are probably from a few shows in '91 but not the warm up as the stage is different. Wish I could see some bootleg of these shows, energy seems amazing.

How many UYI Shows were pro-shot and is it hard to get your hands on? if so... where do i go to get it and what shows?

In short.. I want more than just Tokyo 92 on dvd...

I just learn in another thread that acording to members of the UYI-lineup all shows where recorded but only a few are available for us to watch...

NR and Estranged are mostly Axl's songs, I doubt Slash would bring that into his set.

Man, it sounds like Axl joined Scientology, that enemy list reminds me of 'Going Clear' documentary when people in scientology make a list of SP (Suppresive Person)

Always heard stories of how Duff and Slash were doing excessive amount of drugs and alcohol during the UYI tour. What about the other guys? Axl, Gilby or Matt? Gilby and Matt looked like they had their crap together .

Hi guys, I'm mostly new here but have been a fan of the band for a really long time. My favorite era is the UYI tour, I wish I had the opportunity to see them then.

Anyhow, I wanted to start a thread about this time so people can ask questions etc:

- Did Axl ever explain the way he dressed and his constant change of clothes? A longgg time ago I think there was an interview with him talking about it but I can't find it.

- Are there any full PROSHOT videos from '93? (Aside from the Argentina shows)

- Do you guys think there are video/audio recording from this tour that we have not seen yet? I wonder if the band actually recorded all of the tour and someone has all those tapes.

- Was the "Perfect Crime" documentary a real thing?

I did this no more than 2 months ago with my wife, she's not a GNR fan at all but we went to LA and went to Malibu. You can drive up the hill, there are one or two places where you can park your car and take some picture of the ocean, the views are awesome. The houses are insane and it makes a nice drive.

We didn't park or try to get into Axls house but you can see it from the outside, if you are a big fan, its kind of cool to drive the same street as the Estranged video.
