They are probably stationing in NY as a band. After Philly they will be in NY for 3 shows and NJ for 1. So basically they are camping out in the area for over a week

Agreed, they probably have another stage setup already in PA. I think this is the Prudential Center in NJ because of the red seats but I could be wrong. Katy Perry and Enrique Iglesias are playing in this arena before GNR, would they setup all the stuff here just to tear it down tomorrow?

  2. Here is my review if anyone cares to read it...

Got there at around 7pm, traffic was crazy but I was able to make it to my seat on time, they started around 8pm. I went with two other casual fans, and my brother who knows all the UYI and AFD stuff, not really into CD. It was hot and sticky, I thought Axl would not be wearing any of his jackets, but he did and by Chinese Democracy he was soaking wet from his sweat. Anyhow, I've seen them in 2002-2006-2012(?)-Vegas Night 1, yet, this has been my favorite performance. I didn't see any periscopes or anything the past few weeks, so I didn't know what to expect. Axl sounded AMAZING, both of my casual fans friends were blown away by his voice, he was on fire the entire time, LALD was a highlight, he really brought the house down with that. He was running around, at least more than the Europe leg. Slash was moving around a lot too. The production is great too, if you don't have tickets yet, make sure you find one, I thought Miami was going to be an ok show, but it was GREAT.

Now I want to go see them in the PIT at another show! Gonna have to fly out somewhere.

Is there a meetup or any good rock bars here in miami? Need to soak up the atmosphere

I've been in Miami for almost twenty years, rock + miami doesn't mix, I don't really know of any "rock bars".

The people selling on lawns will be MUCH cheaper if you go a few blocks away.  Don't be concerned about the neighborhood.  It doesn't look pretty but I've gone to tons of events in that area (mostly football games when the Orange Bowl existed there) and never had any problem whatsoever.

Yea, I live here in Miami, I know the area just saying that $35 is crazy expensive to park.

Correct.  That's what Opie the production guy said.  Might even be three.  I don't remember.

In a nugnr tour interview with someone, they said they do a "hub and spoke" approach in the US, where the band stays in one city fir multiple dates and heads out for shows.  In the Midwest, they may stay in Chicago then travel in and out of crappier (my word) cities

Sound logical, that's what U2 does,

¿Why everyone are saying that this people are people who sell autographs on eBay?  if i got the opportunity of one autograph of axl i would go with him and asked for an autograph that doesn't mean that i'm an ebayer but i think you should always see that it is not an inappropriate time to ask for it and btw that person with the camera and all the people around him were so annoying

They were most likely eBayers because they all knew he was there and they were waiting for him with either a picture or an LP to be signed. Regular fans most likely don't walk around a LP. The paparazzis and ebayers share information where the celebrities are all the time, someone got a tip he was there and everyone showed it.

I'm surprised Axl even signed something, and that he had no security around him, or Fernando...where is Fernando??

I still can't get it.. It seems to me that they shot the 'live presence' from the video in Munich..  Studio seems to me as a backdrop for Axl's dolphin stunts.. I do not know what Slash meant by 'shooting on a stage in LA'...

The Estranged video features live shots taken from Munich '93 show. You can see Axl raising his mic stand and you can see the audience. However, close up "live shots" were filmed back in LA. They set up the entire stage in a studio and played the song a few times and they recorded those shots. Its a mix. By the way someone posted that Dead Horse was filmed like this also, it wasn't, all the shots from Dead Horse come from real live takes from different songs and different shows.

They really are just one member away from making this thing sound and feel more authentic and organic..  Having Steven or Matt back would certainly elevate this band to the next level...  I think replacing Fortus would be great too but at least replacing one of them would make a pretty significant impact.. If it wasn't for Slash they would still sound like a bad cover band..

Too bad that Matt and Axl don't get along, I love Steven he deserves to be there etc etc, but bringing Matt back would be amazing!

    Of course my friend!

At the beginning, infact, they were talkin' about doing the concert in Rome (inside the Circus Maximus like the Rolling Stones concert few years ago, but impossible to do for some reasons just like GN'R are not Rolling Stones/security/costs and so one) or in Milan (at Stadio San Siro, but here there's a decibel limit for concerts and events), in the end the best solution was (considering the 90.000 people attending) the circuit of Imola.

Thanks for the reply, San Siro would have been awesome. Or maybe two nights in Rome.
