well people can say they came to the US twice recently, but they skipped my city both times & i am not pleased.

hmmmmmmm, well hater can hate, i'm gunna enjoy a great new album from one of the original gunners, something that doesn't happen enough.

was uneasy when i heard the samples, but i kinda love this record, reminds me of appetite meets ain't life grand, with a little AB for good measure. But that's just my opinon, Ijust like seeing slash working with a singer that can match Axl's range.

I'm not sure if i believe it, but atlas is defiantly out there, as is silkworms, so i guess all we can do is hope for the best.

when i saw slash last year he didn't have an opening act just played for 2 hours, awesome!

i would agree that this was an awesome event if this was just gunna be a one time thing as it is a pretty cool tribute to Pac (no pun intended), but the fucking hologram has a twitter account, really? that's the real insulting thing about the whole thing.

i don't know if that video was the best one to choose to make your case, that's one of the weakest sorry performances I've heard outta Axl.

but i do give the band props for not using tapes for the backing vocals like they did back in 2009-2010.

i just really do't get how ppl can hear Axl mickey mousin' like that & then say things like "this is the best Axl's ever sounded" and "this is the best lineup the band's ever had".

i really don't mean to insult, but i just know axl can do better than that, even tour worn 1992 Axl sounded better than this.

For live i went with live after death (My favorite maiden album), the energy on that record is just second to none

for studio i went with number of the beast, i know it's a bit generic, but it's pretty much the greatest metal record of all time.

as for modern records, brave new world is the best 4 me, every track on that record is solid which is impressive for a band that had been recording records for almost 20 years nonstop at that point.

I always thought the whole "Estranged & coma are too hard to sing live due to their lengths" argument was stupid. theres breaks with no singing in both the songs that are longer than breaks between some songs at concerts. Pluas they played estranged at every show last tour i don't think coma would be impossible even a few times.

If they did a club show in portland at the roseland or the crystal ballroom, i bet it would be a success. A lot of people came to the show at the rose garden show back in 06, though i Didn't actually go 2 that show. was 16 & broke & i thought to myself "Oh, i'm sure they'll be back in a few years", how wrong i was haha.

NVM they played it, so wat'd everybody think? I Thought it was pretty good, not the best thing i've ever heard from myles & slash but not bad by any means. The solo kicked a lot of ass, i'll hav 2 hear it a few more times 2 get a proper judgement.

I was listening to it & they said they were gunna play the song but then falling to pieces by faith no more played & you're a lie popped up in previously played list, dag this happen to anybody else?

Bring Back Bobby Slash! he's one of my favorite guitarists i've ever heard with the slashman, they compliment each other very well.

That aside, the new record looks like it's gunna be great, can't wait!

I actually missed both of em quite a bit, but then i edited them to make them the same sound level as CD so I can tag em' on the end as bonuses. Silkworms actually sounds pretty good way better than the live edit that's floating around.
