New songs from the summer leg, Promise:
And Speed Parade:
Sounds fucking great.

I usually don't like to comment on these kinds of topics because they usually end in disappointment, but i wouldn't be surprised if Axl is bringing in DJ to work on a new guns album, as this is what he did with all the CD era musicians
hope this means good things for GN'R, a new album this fall would be fantastic.

this sucks this site has has a lot of great memories for me, back when i was a kid none of my friends liked guns n' roses & this place meant a lot to me, I'm gonna miss it, peace guys, it's been one hell of a ride.

the finest guitarist on the face of the earth, own every album he's ever played on.
-
I like it. Glad we got at least one good vid cuz this is gonna be one of those rare gems after the tour is over.
i hope not! i hope they end up recording a bunch of shows in 2011-12 & this one gets recorded, because it's awesome
i actually saw slash play it back in Feb. but didn't mention it too much until the rest of you guys got to see it, & i guess it spaced my mind but Brent for sure had a vocal mic & sang backup on a bunch of songs like BFC, PC, etc. & i think if you watch the slash deluxe DVD on BFC from the Roxy he has one too.

Looks Good & All But Wasn't this supposed to be a Live Album as well? It's not that I'm not excited i love AC/DC I just tend to listen to live albums more than I watch live DVDs.

Very sad news, Mike was a great Bass Player & he was part of what made the first two AIC records special.

This one's for Stiff Competition:

this is ridiculously unbelievable. I actually have been having quite a good chuckle at the "news" stories that music sites have been posting about GN'R. one claimed that axl's twitter post about MSL was actually a response 2 slash saying he wanted axl to apologize.
-
Still with this, plus the ad about the relaunch of creem, things are starting to point in MSL's favor.
But hey we'll all know for sure next week.
-
Wasn't MSL talking about GNR doing something for the Superbowl?
-
I believe that next month we'll have, one way or another, something new from this band, so i say bring it on.
-
This is bullshit. They really hyped one show way more than necessary.
seriously, making it out to sound like a tour & then disappointing everyone by announcing one show. That's a real great way to treat you're fans guys.

Some people just don't realize that AFD is ALL killer, NO filler. Every track on that record is great, and anything goes is no exception. Fantastic guitar work, one of the best examples of how well Slash & Izzy work together, plus it's got a great, catchy chorus, the only downside i see is that the lyrics to the verses are kinda ridiculous but then again it was the 80's everything was a little ridiculous.

I've never been particularly happy with the placement of jungle in any setlist throughout GN'R history. I've always wished they would make it the opening of the encore.

i think Tokyo is great, sure Axl's voice is a little ragged at times but it goes to show the man can still put on a great show even if his voice was shot.
I agree though that they should defiantly release a 09-10 show, I've been thinking that they should release a tour edition of CD whenever they get around to touring the states & add a bonus DVD with performances of the current lineup
& by the way people i think biker shorts axl is the first image most people get when they think of Axl.
-
I think silkworms could be great if properly recorded, i don't know if I'd want it on a future GN'R album, to me it will always be associated with CD
-
Does every thread on mygnr have to become a petty argument?
Anyways back on topic, i agree that guns needs to do something this year, this band doesn't need a year off, they need to keep the momentum going, how bout a US tour with a tour edition of CD with a couple new songs & a Bonus DVD backing it. Sounds like a solid idea to me.

When it comes to Metal you gotta go old school man!
Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, W.A.S.P., Sabbath, Queensryche, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, that's where it's at. \m/

great album, though it was a bit much to take in at first (being a 75 minute record) but it's one of those records that gets better with every listen.
& Dickinson is still fantastic my friend, sure his voice is a bit aged, but he always gives 110% on stage which you don't see frontmen men anymore.
-
Haha i love this, congrats on finally finding it.

This is exactly why your my hero Mr. Osbourne

Sweet, man dizzy is the best.

Most of the bands on Spaghetti, The Stones, VR, Snakepit, Loaded, Izzy & Ju Ju Hounds.

That's a sweet setlist, although i wish he would've played a few they played earlier in 2011 like Jizz Da Pit & Beautiful Dangerous, but still I can't wait!
