I supported Axl's decision but the response was pretty negative

I thought the same thing. Maybe the response was not as negative as he thought it would be.

I don't really like Myles singing on GNR songs he just is no Axl. He sounds good on a few of his own Myles songs on the Slash album. That is why it would be real cool to get Axl in for a reunion.

How did they make the Elvis one looks so real. They ruined that one with that lady singer. Elvis is much better than her. The Tu Pac one not sure it really looked like him. I think they probably scanned in someone for that and change the face to look similar to his. Not sure. Anyways, pretty crazy.

Maybe they both can admit their at fault and the band can move forward. I am sure they both have said things negative and maybe stretched the truth some. Lets get over it guys and start the next album for GNR with the old lineup. I suggest it is called "Appetite for Reconstruction".

I am willing to buy the album and listen to it tell I can really judge it. Most of it does not grab me right away like Carolina did. I liked the last Slash album better but that probably was do to the singers on it were my to my liking. I did like the few songs Miles did on that album. I will need the bonus tracks.

I enjoyed Mat's speech too. I thought he was entertaining you could see that he was very happy to be there too. I am glad both Matt and Steven are friends now. Steven was having a great time there you could tell. He was so happy. Nice to see that. Slash played really well that night too. It was a good night.

Should be interesting to hear what come of this. I wonder who the special guest will be. Would be cool if it was Chris Cornell or maybe Jerry Cantrell or something like that. Just thinking. Anyways, Kurt was the most talented in Nirvana.

Of course we care about Axl we just know that a reunion would be the best thing for all of us. Axl just has not realized it yet. Sooner or later he will figure it out. How many more years of waiting who knows.

Mao5 great set of pictures you put up. This has been one of the best nights for GNR in a long time. Happy day. I am glad Steven is having such a wonderful time. He really needed this. Matt was in such a great mood too. It was nice seeing this band rock on stage again.

I think reunion talk has picked up after the RRHOF. People realized how cool it would be for a reunion. The old band still has it. They really played tight tonight. There is a lot of positive energy about the performance.

Myles sounds great. He sounds great on the Slash album. I'm guessing he'll sound great on the new Slash album

Well Myles probably did best on sweet child of mine. But he is no replacement for Axl. But at least they had some singer since Axl bailed on them. I was hoping for a duff vocal song of GNR but I guess they wanted to play the hits.

Anyways, the instrumentation of GNR makes it worth listening. They could have went up and just played the music with out a singer and I probably would be happy too. It was nice hearing the music being played correctly. I miss Axl's voice. Too bad he did not make it.

It was strange that they never said Axl's name in the induction. Too bad Mr. Rose had to complain and get his name not mentioned.

Now that I'm thinking about this whole thing, it should be amazing if Slash would have said: "And finally, I wanted to thank Axl Rose, he didn't want to be here but wherever you are "my friend", thank you!". I would have cried .

I was wondering if anyone would thank Axl. I guess Matt did because he thanked band members that were not there. So I guess that means Axl, Izzy, and Dizzy.

The real GNR played they just did not have Axl, Izzy, or Dizzy present. But this is the closest it has been to GNR since VR. The lineup was very similar to that which they toured in 1993 except missing Axl and dizzy. Then you got the AFD line up minus Axl and Izzy. Anyways, pretty sweet.

Wow GNR sounded real good and tight. Just as good as in their prime just needed MR. Rose. I liked Matt's speech. Cool to see Adler and Matt taking turns playing. This would be my ideal reunion if Axl and Izzy showed too. Anyways, this is still really cool to see them on stage and hear them play.

Carolina sounds pretty cool with that talk box. I will have to get use to Myles voice never really liked his voice too much. But I will probably get used to it. Slash really did great.

I was looking all over HBO trying to find out what channel it was on. Then look on this board to find it will not air tell May. I thought it was going to air live on HBO.

I think they did this for VR too.

Do you realize you asked if we like Axl's hats then forgot to write the option "Yes, I do" or whatever.... I do like the hats BTW! Since you don't like them, you simply made yourself forget about the other option... I see! :xmassrudolph:

I always thought that was funny and also pretty cool for an intro.
