I agree a new album is past do. Considering how many songs they made to make Chinese Democracy you would think they could have release a second album right after the first was released. They have to have a lot of tracks waiting to be released in a vault. Where is the General that Bach talked about it was supposed to be really amazing?

It was so frustrating to wait for Chinese Democracy to come out. I think the first songs leaked in like 2001 then it took tell like 2008 to release the thing. They played some of the songs way back in 2001 live during a Chinese Democracy tour. The album was pretty much old news by the time it came out in 2008.

I get the impression from this that Axl could be touring with New GNR durring the induction. Axl does not want to upset anyone so he is not saying for sure. Maybe he wants to decide latter so he can still ponder it.

Actually most of us just like GNR and would love to hear more music like they used to make. They also put on a great show too. I never saw the original GNR live so that would be something special too.

I am sure this could have some truth.

But here are some other reasons for the delays. The revolving changing of players in GNR. The change of guitarists and drummers. The rerecording of parts to make sure the new players were on the released album. The leak of the album. Thus having to change it some to release it as something different from the leaks. The bad performance at the MTV 2002 Awards probably did not help. Taking so long to make the record probably did not help. The cost to make record means that New GNR needed to tour to pay for the recording since the record label probably did not want to send more money. Lawsuits of numerous kinds. Axl wanted a new style for GNR. The perfectionist of Axl probably delay things. Axl's lack of voice in the early 2000s probably did not help.

I still think the emergence of the helium voice is one of the things that was a real downer about the album Chinese Democracy. The change in style of Axl singing to fit this new style of album that became Chinese Democracy just did not sound as good to me as his old self. Not sure if it was aging or just his new style that was the problem. I am leaning on mostly his new style. I partly think he came up with new way of singing to save his voice. He probably had some voice lessons that said don't use that raspy voice so much. To me he sounded more like Robert Plant at times then Axl.

Yeah I sure would love to have Izzy back in a reunion. If they ever did an album Izzy is a must. He really can help write a great record.

They all should show up it is something they all deserve to be a part of. It is an honor that not many bands get.

GNR is one of those bands that fans have always loved and they have not been forgotten after all these years. The fans are still wanting a reunion after all these years that says something. This band was special.

It would be even more amazing if they could forget the break up long enough to do a few songs for the crowd. GNR the old style is the band I have loved for a long long time. I hope Slash and Axl are there. It would be great if they all played together with Steven and Matt switching out depending on the song. But heck just to see the guys all together getting the award would be cool to. Hope they can make up and all be friends again at a minimum that would be great. They were once great friends and they should be again.

It is nice to see that Duff has been opening the new GNR lately with his band Loaded. Wow that is cool. Second I remember that Izzy has played with the band a few times too. So maybe there is some hope for original GNR to do some songs at the induction.

If a reunion happened I am sure they could recreate something like they did in the past. I loved AFD and Illusions so if it was in that style I would love it too. I have been dreaming of a reunion ever since the band broke up. Anyways, I would love to have a new record with the old lineup with Matt or Steven. Slash is doing amazing work on his solo records lately. I think Slash could really do a great record with GNR if it happened. Duff is amazing with Loaded so I imagine he could really contribute to a GNR record. Steven is sober last I heard and still can drum. Matt did great with VR so I would think he could come back and do it if needed. Izzy is a question mark but maybe he could at minimum record in the studio with them. With todays modern technology Izzy could record his parts in Indiana if needed in another studio. They still could get a record done. Axl voice is getting stronger from his touring with the new GNR so he could bring the vocals. I think Axl has proved that his voice can still sound like his old self just listen to the Back in the Saddle cover he did with Bach.

For me hearing GNR sound like the old style GNR would really be amazing on another record. If it was anything like their old selfs would really be amazing. I loved that stuff. I still listen to AFD and Use Your Illusions.

Yeah Axl sounds like Mickey Mouse on sweet child of mine. Pretty bad hope that was just the monitor being bad but he has had this helium mickey mouse now and then. I hope Axl can get his vocals back in shape and recapture the Axl vocals he is a legend for. Estranged sounded decent to me. Not perfect but it probably sounded better in person then on YouTube. I agree the band it self sounded pretty good. I could still notice the mickey mouse thing now and then even in estrange.

It's about time Axl decides that starting late is only going to destroy his band. He needs to get with the program and be more respectful to the fans. He has been late for ever and it has been an issue for a long time. It really does cause these fans to get angry and it causes situations where Axl likes to leave the stage and could start riots. He is causing these issues to happen and he could prevent it happening. Why does he not just go on in a decent time. These are the same reason for the destruction of the original GNR and probably will be the same reason for the destruction of the current lineup. I am sure the rest of the band in GNR are tired of Axl causing these issues too. At minimum they should warn concert goers a head of time that Axl will be late. That would at least maybe keep them from getting as upset. Then again people are impatient.

Axl being late to shows is one of the reasons Slash is not in GNR anymore. Axl still is doing his old habits. Not sure about the sleeping but I do think Axl does sleep late right before the shows because he has said it before in an interview.

I probably would not have bothered listening to CD or follow the band much. It was an ok album but not really something to get excited for an extended period. Unlike AFD which I sitll love after all these years. I seriously doubt GNR would have made it with just CD as an album to rise to the top with.

Yeah I liked that band. I like Queens of the Stone Age too.

Yeah they were a great band when they first came out but then got over played and people started hating on them. I still think they were very good and Fred was a great front man live when I saw them play. This song is not one of there bests it is a little boring maybe because it waits too long for changes.

Hope it rocks. Should be cool having Dave back on vocals for new tracks.

I like Sublime. I wrote a few reggae songs recently as demo songs. Sublime gets some air play.

Sounds great. I love Soundgarden and got to see them live. Hope I get a chance to do that.

Good song. I just hope to hear more stuff like album Superunknown. I totally loved Superunknown. This is more like Bad Motor Finger and is a great song but Id still prefer superunknown. The high notes vocals get old after awhile. I prefer the less high register vocals of superunkown and DOTUS.

The new Feeler album is streaming free now. It is a really great band and I am proud of this album. They are amazing. Hope you love them as much as I do.

Here is the sweet album cover. Wow they really did a good job on this one.

Looks like a great set list. Wish I could have made it to that show. Hopefully I catch at least one or two shows from this tour.

Those songs are still played a lot on the radio. I think they are timeless and will continue to be popular.

Maybe he is trying to make up with Axl in some way. I am sure he still thinks he is owed money but thinks Axl is a genius.

Axl is still good but back in his prime he was the best.
