Honestly I was surprised Fat Mike was associating with Dizzy, Mike has said not so great things about GNR in the past. There’s a NOFX song talking about merging record collections with his wife when they met and the opening stanza is

I thought you were the one when I heard "Holidays In The Sun"
    come from your bedroom
but my mind started to stray when I saw Youth of Today
    mixed with your singles
What's with this Underdog and this GNR EP?
    I don't think Hanoi rocks
and I don't want your Paul Stanley
    next to my Subhumans gatefold
I'm not trying to be a jerk
but I don't think this record mergers gonna work”

They talk about GN’R in a few songs. El Lay off Ribbed and the follow up to the song you mentioned, I’ve Got One Jealous Again Again.

I was surprised to see Fat Mike work with Dizzy as GN’R is the anti-NOFX.

Well maybe they would've done it with Hillary if she would've said she would build a wall. And all the other hatefull stuff that Trump said.

Speaking of hateful things people have said, wasn't it Hillary who famously said:

    "Immigrants and....
They make no sense to me
    They come to our country
And think they'll do as they please
    Like start some mini Iran,
    Or spread some fuckin' disease
They talk so many goddamn ways
    It's all Greek to me"

The USB port in my car CD player isn't working so I've had to use actual CDs for the last week. I bought Chinese Democracy yesterday, so put another one up on the big board!

Where do you even buy it? Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, none of them have it. A CD shop? Is it used?

It just makes me wonder, people who think the album has seen an increase in sales over they years (and after the reunion)-ok, where did people buy the album? Is it still being pressed? Are there no more new copies and just old stock (finally) being sold?

Yeah but what surprise me a lot is he waited 4 or 5 years to sue..Why didn`t he demand  before? It is weird. If the band wasn`t pay him ok. Anyhow, I think is the management  of GNR the responsible, I guess.

How do you know he hasn't been trying to get paid for the last 4-5 years? He probably reached the point of giving up trying to get his money and did what was in his best interest. Just like any other person would.

  6. I'm basing these rankings off GN'R's previous work. Scale is 0-10 with 10 being the most enjoyable for me and 0 being This I love. Outside of Better I would rather listen to almost any other song in the GN'R catalog.

    1.    "Chinese Democracy"    2
    2.    "Shackler's Revenge"     1
    3.    "Better"                        5
    4.    "Street of Dreams"        3
    5.    "If the World"               1
    6.    "There Was a Time"     4
    7.    "Catcher in the Rye"     4
    8.    "Scraped"                    1
    9.    "Riad N' the Bedouins"   1
    10.    "Sorry"                       2
    11.    "I.R.S."                      2
    12.    "Madagascar"             2
    13.    "This I Love"              0
    14.    "Prostitute"                4

Axl had no intention of reuniting in 2012 because he and slash hadn't straightened out their issues yet. Apparently, now they have. So now, it feels right to do it especially after having a few band members quit.

Is there really a problem with that or are you confused... ?

If someone asks me if I'm getting back together with my ex and I say "Not in this lifetime" that typically doesn't mean...well, I would, if things were right and it felt right, sure. It means no, it's not going to happen. But I suppose you, Billsfan, knew all along that there would be, considering you were able to read through Axl's own "Not in this lifetime" and interpret it to mean "Sure, I'd reunite with Slash, I've always been open to the idea, provided everything feels right." What has Axl said or done, prior to reuniting with Slash and Duff, that leads one to believe he was open to the idea the whole time?

Yea I didn't care for the guy going at Axl for wanting more money by creating a label, Axl was just saying they would have been better off if they controlled their music instead of having to play the corporate games with Geffin. The guy didn't understand how Axl could have done better but Axl was trying to explain it to him and finally gave up.

But it there were parts where he got more out of Axl and pushed him to explain himself which is always good with Axl who can say a lot and still give you nothing.

Great interview though, I really enjoy hearing Axl talk about anything so everything was great. I'd like to have asked him about what happened after CD released and kinda go into detail on why everything went quiet until that 09 tour started late in December.

Didn't they have their own label back then...Uzi Suicide? I mean, it was no Geffen Records, but I thought they had their own "label".

  9. Notice nothing from ChiDem was "represented", never mind blood boiling, it's not even simmering.

When it comes to this era of GNR, Slash, Axl and Duff would be involved in approving it.

A few years ago this would have been unthinkable.

Right? I'm not surprised Axl agreed to license something with the old band members images and likenesses (he seems to be cooling on that), but I'm shocked he & TB allowed something to appear that ignores Chinese Democracy.

Nobody cares about Chinese Democracy. This is just another example to those who think it made any sort of debt in pop culture or had any sort of relevancy.
