God, that video is at least 12 years old. Can't believe it still gets play.
-
I forgot! This is the show they played the General!
-
Did the other guys leave the band? Is this the new band? I thought I saw Bumblefoot picking up some roadie equipment in the beginning.
-
Do the playing cards have any band member photos, i.e. Axl as the Ace?
Ashba is the Joker?
Either that or the deuce.
-
Where's the Axl Rose figure?
-
-
Allllllllllllright! That sucked!
-
Why was this changed from the 80's again? Even the 90's version with reggae was better than this...

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! YCBM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will never admit I stayed up to watch this. Wtf...
-
So Axl is the only one there?

I'll leave the word to someone who knows him much better than me:
Tommy: The fucking most amazing thing about this guy, about playing with him, is that, he gets up there and fucking does a fucking 1000 % of what he's got every time he shows up, and fucking people come out in their fucking thousands all over the fucking world to see that. [A.V.'s Podmass Central, June 2013]
Dj: The one thing that impresses me so much with playing with someone like Axl, there's not one of these songs that is easy to sing, and this guy goes out and not only runs for three hours on stage, full blast, singing these songs. He does it night after night and it is just mind-blowing to me. I don't know how he does it. [...] Pretty insane. [...] He's old school. Everything you hear he is singing, there is no lip synching. It is the real deal, it is raw. [in The Now, May 2013].
Richard: It’s a pleasure to play with him. It can be an incredibly intense experience. I’ve never stood next to anyone on stage that is that intense. He is definitely exorcising demons at times! [Australian Guitar, March 2013].
Bunch of kiss-asses protecting their livelihood. Axl doesn't run for three hours on stage, full blast, night after night.
They were probably watching YouTube videos from 1992.

Interesting that pulls up in a minivan. I thought Axl was a limo guy.
-
We've been through this such a long long time
Just tryin' to kill the pain -
Interesting..... "In the beginning we were putting a band together to achieve something. It was always kind of a triad between Slash, Izzy and me.

Sorry I wanted to watch this one for the phone call at the end. YouTube won't let me watch unless I link it. So this post is off topic.
That call is pretty awesome! "We just finished shoot 5 seconds of a video!" LMMFAO!

I saw them on the UCAP tour in Orlando. GN'R didn't come onstage until nearly 1 AM. There wasn't any huge, elaborate stage or anything like that. It was at the HOB or Hard Rock, pretty small and limited with what you could do.

Amy's statement was deleted! Why? (https://www.facebook.com/amy.baileypearce?fref=ts)
What did it say? I missed it.

Wasn't there a story about some woman that went to his house for a party...something about knowing Axl because they both kept wolves as pets or something like that.
Yeah, I remember the story and her. She had a website hosted by geocities or something like that. She had a ton of pics and had pics from her trip to meet Axl.

you who liked CD didn't you miss the rawness of GnR sound like Back Off Bitch, Get In The Ring, You Could Be Mine..Use Your Illusion was more hardrock and I find Cd to be "softcore" rock..too many ballads, drums were weak and Axl's voice..I'm more into bluesy based rock and not computer generated shit..sorry but thats just my opinion..CD lyrics didn't relate so much to my feelings and the sound was too much like NineInchNails style..too experimental, computer generated..fuck I hate CD even when I have to listen to it or write about it..makes me just angry One song is even like hiphop..HIPHOP song in GnR album (If The World)..Axl went too far on experimenting different sounds..It's just too much to handle..too much going on at the same time..
I had EXACTLY the same feeling as this guy when I heard Riad, start at 5.43...Alan Niven says it pretty well when he says that CD is best described as chinese water torture..
Ha ha! That was pretty good! That pretty much sums up how everyone I've played CD for has reacted to it.

Axl is always the last to know lol.
Look what Frank got.

A personalized note would be the way to go if you wanted to personalize things, not sign the award. Something like that looks like what a fan would buy. I wonder if it took him as long to sign these as it did for him to get around to the Topps cards?
