I wonder if such a thing even exists at all. Didn't that instrumental get used by another band associated with Tommy or Richard? Someone here posted a link to it within the last year or so.

NO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! This band is a joke! I think the songs that leaked are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the ChiDem record itself!

What a waste of talent! What a waste of time!

    NUMBER ONE

An official high-quality reworked version of "Crash Diet"

    NUMBER TWO

MTV recorded 3 concerts of the band in Brazil in 1992 (2 in São Paulo and 1 in Rio de Janeiro) and I'd love to see that

    NUMBER THREE

     The "Perfect Crime" documentary

I have an addition to make! (so many holy grails for GNR LOL)

    NUMBER FOUR

An official version of "As It Began" (Instrumental and with vocals) - Nobody seems to like the song, but I think is one of the most beautiful songs NEW GNR made (so far).

    Good stuff, thanks for sharing.

I'm fairly certain we will see Beavan credited on some of the tracks on the next album as well.

Perhaps, Atlas, Hardschool, etc. to name a few.

I wonder what else existed with vocals back in that period, that didn't leak. The "(no vox)" label on Zodiac 13 implies that track existed with vocals back then. Could be scratch vocals like Quick Song or State Of Grace though.

I only care for "As It Began".

Yup - Slash and Duff are never quitting GNR again. If no new music is forthcoming then they can get their creative endeavours out elsewhere and ‘play for fun’ with GNR whilst earning gazillions. I think we will get new GNR stuff anyway so all is good but I think ‘the big 3’ are here to the bitter end now.

I had a strange dream last night!

I've never dreamt about GNR, but in this dream Duff released a statement saying he was out of the band due to creative differences and the lack of efforts to release something new after 5 years!

If one of them (Slash or Duff) is out the band is over.

Did MTV ever air those concerts? Also, I know that there's tons of footage filmed during the UYI tour.

Presumably some of it would be for the Perfect Crime doc but was the documentary ever completed?

I know it's unlikely but as someone else said a Last Dance style documentary with this footage would be awesome.

Have current interviews with that version of the band spliced with footage and UYI era interviews. Hand Axl an iPad like they did with Michael Jordan.

They never aired the Brazilian concerts!

We have some bits and pieces from a local TV station that filmed the concert from the parking lot:

Are you saying the song changes title in different countries?

Or that Beta and Fernando can't sing two lines of spanish?

I know chinese people who can, so it would be strange.

You bet they do! Brazilians are crazy!

Here is the original version in Spanish:

But then there's a worst version of a very popular american song that became a famous MEME here in Brazil.

    Guess the song:

    Haha- love that!

I had a funny one on the NITL tour. Met a really posh couple, got talking to them. They'd been following some youth football team matches around watching the games. I'd seen these players around a bit- eaten in the same place as them the night before, been in a hotel they were in etc etc. Thought nothing of it. Think they were Swedish maybe.

Anyway, these people were telling me what they were doing and were utterly in awe that I'd seen this team around. Where were they? Had I spoken to them? Etc etc.

They then asked what I was doing and I told them I was in town to see GNR. Then they said 'Oh, who were those people we met last night? Didn't they say they were in a band? They were American, said they had a show. Very pleasant, we had a good few drinks with them and watched some matches. One of them kept paying for our drinks".

So basically.....they'd spent the evening with members of GNR, and had no idea  or care who they were, and I'd spent time with this football team and couldn't have cared less! Both of us were just left stupidly envious of the other!

WOW!!!! That'd be so cool o witness!

Another funny story that I have is not related to GNR, but to the Ramones.

I used to live in a street that is considered the red light district for musicians and musical instruments here in São  Paulo, it is still today considered as a musical mecca for anything music related, they sell instruments, they have street concerts, record stores and so on, I lived right by the corner of  the street.

It was 1995, the Ramones were at the Adios Amigos tour, I was comming home from school and there's a van with a bunch of guys with very funny hair cuts parked right in front of my house, their were eating something, laughing, speaking a foreign language (to me), and there were a bunch of instruments by the side of the van.

There they were! The entire band and I was like: cool. Late at night I was watching MTV and then Substitute started to play and that was my second WTF moment in my life! hahaha

I honestly don't know if this will be a popular or unpopular opinion but I know it will be divisive so I will say it here - I think Oh My God is the best nuGNR era song and beats pretty much every track on the actual CD album

Axl's voice is nice and angry sounding, there is an aggression to the song that rocks so much harder than the rockers on CD, and the lyrics are ace

    Agreed!

    Oh for fucks sake.

    This shit is relentless.

That's what I have been saying for the last couple of years! So, that teaser "just a little patience" was not for a single, or the Live NITL release, or a new album or even the elections result, it was for MORE dates of a 4 year old tour and the best, the dates are a YEAR ahead!!!

And you know what I think the worst is? The AFD5 cross, people are already starting to assume there will be a full reunion and that's how the band will guarantee sales for those gigs. LIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!

This band is milking us so hard and we fall for it every time! The MOST DANGEROUS band in the world became the MOST BORING band in the world.
