Okay, I'm tired of looking at my collection. Maybe someday I'll finish, but those are my completed collections from #-D (according to Allmusic).
There's a lot of bands that I have almost every album like Blue Oyster Cult (where I'm only missing one or two albums from their 80s period) and David Bowie (whom I have about 30 records of as well). There's a lot of new bands or side projects that I just didn't put because they only had one record...
As you can tell, I have a MASSIVE collection and sometimes get overwhelmed it all, but then again I'm an audiophile and kinda enjoy being overwhelmed by it.
fucking hell dude!!
thats a lot of stuff

i liked it

holy crap these songs are great

It wasn't this week, but it was a pretty recent episode (I dont know whos show, it could be letterman, conan, ferguson, or fallon) but it was an african american guitarist that played a slow jazz song, with a backing band, with electric guitar being the main lead instrument
sorry thats all the info i have on him... but any help would be appreciated
Was it The Roots?
nope.. the guy was a musical guest, rather than the actual band
-
nah it wasnt him (even though hes good)

Allison Mosshart from The Dead Weather would be awesome on his solo record. She has a great voice. Highly doubt she is the one Slash is talking about though.
