Both Slash and Axl sabotaged it :

-Axl by refusing to make the slightest effort to change his douchebag ways ( late, diva etc... ) and by wanting to change Izzy's contract ( probably his biggest mistake ) because he wasn't "moving as much as the others on stage" ( wtf )...

-Slash by being so uncompromising as regards the music style ( while being eager to record with every shitty band there ever was ) and by telling Axl to fuck off if he didn't want to do the whole Snakepit record. He also shouldn't have left thinking Axl wasn't actually going to use the name without him...

Those two ruined the band single handedly.

I don't know why people are so surprised at this letter. There are tons of fans who would love a reunion; this person just put it in an open letter in hopes that his pleas won't fall on deaf ears. I think people here are more riled up because it's supposedly BBA's letter. He must be on his 325th username by now if he still posts here.

I guess we'll just have to wait until April 14th and see what happens.

Change the station and get some real problems. If this is the most annoying or inconvenient thing that's happened to you all day, you have nothing to worry about.

There are other sites besides eBay you can try. Or if you have record stores in your area, they might buy them.
