And getting back to the newsstands today, how fucking petty of RS to mention Beta's call (IF that's even true).

OK, I generally like what you have to say about things but this just brings ass kissing to a whole new low. I get that Fernando et all read the forum but that doesn't mean that you can't have an opinion that differs from theirs. Maybe they'll even respect you more if you have your own opinion (provided it's laid out respectfully I'm sure).

What I said is my real opinion. RS is sinking to printing petty, idiotic "news" when there's plenty more important things to write about in the world of GN'R today. I have no idea whether she actually made the call; the point is that it's a new level of low for RS to write about it if she did.

I can only base my opinion of you off your posts (obviously) and in all actuality they have leaned further toward ass kissy than I think you realize. And we aren't talking about your every day life, more what you say in regards to the GNR camp, etc. But fair enough.

It wasn't like an entire article was based around this event. It was more like a 'fun fact' blurb-it about the journalist; it could have been a little something about any band. I disagree with your opinion that it's low for them to write about it though. Like I said, it's just a 'fun fact' type thing.

Guess I just don't see it as a "fun fact" when they refer to Beta as Axl's "housekeeper." I took it as RS trying to not only demean her but make her and Axl look silly in the process.

Funny how people just instantly bash movies like Avatar and Alice in Wonderland, even before they see them.....just because they are popular or made a lot of money.

Well, gee, I thought I disliked AIW because of the horrible script and whatnot. Now I realize it's only flaw is the fact that it made a lot of money. I totally love it now! Thx, Apollo!

You are a bit of a movie snob, which I'm sure you would admit, so I wouldn't expect you to like a movie like Avatar. I don't think Avatar was made for people like you. It was a 2.5 hour distraction, some cool visuals, a good battle scene, a love story. Again - not something to change your life, but something to entertain you for a couple hours on a saturday afternoon.

I didn't "love" the movie either. But it was better than the average flick out there. What kept me from loving it was the main actor. He was wooden, dry and terrible all the way around. His performance had me rooting for him to fail.

I spoke with someone in my company who is based in Indiana who went to school with him. He said Axl was an asshole and always looked pissed off and was in desperate need of a shower. He said Axl constantly looked like he was going to stab someone. He said Izzy was okay and Shannon Hoon was very cool.

I tend not to listen to this song too often as it makes me quite 'sad'. I think it's a great tune. Unconventional for this forum I guess.

I don't think her "stage" persona is anything that we haven't seen (Madonna lite), and while I think her album is above average.....it "owes" a great deal to Gwen Stenfani's solo efforts.

And that isn't a knock on her, because if you look at what is popular today (with respect to taylor swift), it is bunch of chicks,not just Gaga, trying to either copy or borrow from the style Gwen laid the blueprint for with, "Love Angel Music Baby."
