How was the first time you met Axl?

It was on a rehearsal. Many times we rehearsal without him, but that day he came and kept talking with us. While we were playing Riad N’ The Bedouins he whisped in my ears "This part reminds me Beatle's "Hey Bulldog". I immediatily thought "Wow, he likes the Beatles, nice!". Because I'm a Beatles fan.

The riffs are very familiar, hear the guitars on Riad once Axl starts the "ooooooooooh"s. I never made that connection before..

We already knew Axl was a big Beatles fan, after all "Catcher In The Rye" was written in memory of John Lennon, right?

None of them changed rock so I had to go with none ;/. For someone to be in the RNRHOF they have to CHANGE rock. While I believe Buckethead's music SHOULD influence music, it hasn't yet.

I was following loads of people on twitter who work for IGN and Gamespot and they were all doing contests to win codes by answering questions.

Funny thing is the person I won it from who I was following had alot more followers than the ones I had tried to win earlier but wasn't fast enough.

So I will be playing Reach on thursday a whole 4 days before most other people

You know what I just love about Guns N' Roses? How you can't predict a single thing.

Try this. Try imagining what an unreleased track sounds like. Don't count Checkmate or Silkworms. It's impossible. I have no idea where to even begin. I wish I was a fan earlier so that I could have seen everyone's reaction (including my own) as a song like, say, If The World leaked. That must have been such a kick in the balls to all the "RnR GnR fans", hearing this Latin Rock-ish chill back tune from the band you used to consider "The most dangerous band in the world". Nobody ever predicted a song to sound like that and we still can't even get close to pinpointing what a new song would sound like.

Now lets cut to a band like Metallica. Let's try to guess what a new song will sound like.

Done.

It's just something that separates the current Guns from any other band and I love it.

You can't say this band can't play Estranged until they actually play it, you shouldn't make assumptions about guitar players you don't know.

Of course you can based on what they have played so far.

No you can't because all you are doing is making an assumption on your personal viewpoint about their playing. You can't make a clear judgement on it, as you seem to be doing, if that's not your intent then I apologise, without actually hearing them play it in full in a good quality youtube video/bootleg.

I have seen this band about 10 times 8 of which with Ron, so I am pretty sure I am able to judge. Unless you are talking about the estranged bid he does, then yes I have not seen that in person, but its not that good.

Ron will just try to shred the estranged notes and he will butcher the song.

And using that logic, no one can say this band could pull it off either then. So this topic should just be locked then right?

You act like Bumblefoot's fingers are physically incapable of not shredding. It's a choice when he shreds, he's not forced to. His fast Estranged riff isn't bad in Pink Panther, so he can do that and Ashba can do the solos. Or Ashba can do everything. The rhythm guitar sounds Don't Cryish anyway which we know BBF rocks Don't Cry.

I think Bumbles should be the next Jesus.

guys, ur help would be appreciated, I but I was wondering if you knew any games that were hard and fun and preferably shooters? I really enjoyed COD4 on veteran but MW2 was a bit to easy, as was BBC 2, any suggestions

(have just brought COD5 and its quite hard!)

If you're looking for hard shooters Bioshock 1 was pretty hard. I don't know about the second one.

I don't like Final Fantasy XIII. Turnbased battles for so long are boring and the dialogue is too japanese.

I've only heard Endgame and I really liked it.

Bungie released a ton of info about Halo Reach multiplayer today. What the revealed is something that me and my friends like to call "randy".

Perfect Dark on XBL arcade is cool but has wayy too sensitive aiming.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 had a short campaign that was a typical soldier game campaign. Nice characters though. Multiplayer is alright unless you're strictly into really competitive games. Some maps are just useless if you're not in a vehicle and I hate that. The rest is like Call of Duty except better.
