I actually bought 5. All the people I gave it to loved it. They only made 52. It's very special. There's a limited edition leather bound copy of that toilet paper disguised as a short story?
And you bought it?
Fuck me

Which is not something a person with any real integrity would do.
The funiest part is, both of you and Apollo are hilariously over exaggregate this...
Axl is a private person. She sold very personal things. I don't really get why she would do this 30 years after her marriage to him ended. It was bizarre. And Axl couldn't sue her since some of you said that the things in question belonged to her. Technically it was her right to sell her things. But a classy lady would have just returned them if she didn't want them.
Serious question - did Axl or his family speak out about the sale?Keep in mind that some of the things Erin sold pertained to Axl's brother and sister. She sold at least one photo of them as kids, as well as a letter from their stepfather that was addressed to all three of the siblings.
Axl's siblings had nothing whatsoever to do with the domestic violence and beatings that Erin suffered, they are not public figures, and their privacy should have been protected. I don't think any of us would appreciate it if someone sold our baby pictures or documents about our conflicts with our parents because we happened to be related to someone famous. It would have been far kinder of Erin to remove those items from the sale.
People are assuming that Axl's silence means there IS a reunion. Maybe his silence on the sale is because he gave Erin his approval. Or maybe he doesn't care.
If my next book took off and propelled me to fame and fortune, and it promoted my ex-wife to sell old love letters or pictures of me - I wouldn't care in the least bit.
The problem some people in the GnR fan base run into is they think Axl is more important than other people. That his feelings are more important than others. And that simply isn't the case. Erin is just as important as Axl. Just because he is a good singer doesn't mean his feelings are more important than the guy who makes your sandwiches at Subway.
I'm guessing that's the exact sentiment that Axl had.I guess I'm alone in this but I couldn't give two shits what Erin has done with any of her own personal property.
Lol - holy crap. Returned them to him? Like Axl is a God and the rest of us need to now down to him. You truly do think the world revolves around Axl.
I seriously doubt Axl was OK with her selling that stuff. And why almost 30 years later!?Supposedly she is writing a book. Whatever. A classy lady could have just returned it to him.
You don't think people should be able to sell their own possessions? That seems a little weird or aggressive on your part.
I thought it was very obnoxious. Just my opinion. That's a good question.. Man Erin must be money hungry to have wanted to rid of those
If she owned them I don't understand why anybody would have a problem with her selling it.
I'm getting ready to sell my house and am selling a lot of old stuff. I found some items that were co-owned by my ex-wife and I. Like a blanket we got as a wedding present. Am I obnoxious and money hungry for selling them?
And do you know if Axl said anything about it? Maybe Erin reached out and asked Axl if he wanted it. And he told her to sell it all if she needed the money. Would that change your opinion on this matter?
I realize you defend and praise everything Axl does. But man, those items belonged to Erin. That should be more important than the Axl worship. IMO.
Axl didn't make a public statement denouncing Erin. That must mean he agreed with her decision.
Why do you doubt he wasn't Ok with it? Did he announce that publically? Did he sue her???
Axl and his lawyers put the rapid fire guy through Hell. You don't think he would have stuck his legal team ALL OVER Erin if he had a problem with what she was doing????
Erin just wants some money and like every (former) celebrity wife, she grab the opportunity to milk the cash cow once more....
You seem like a nice person.
But the way you are always shaming and insulting public figures online is quite disturbing. This is a wide spread epidemic now days. Very sad to see.
We need more acceptance, love and compassion in the world and less bullying, negativity and anger.
I am much more positive than negative. I have only made some comments about Eddie Trunk because he was rude to me. And I think Erin selling Axls stuff was pretty low. I don't condemn her as a person.

It's so easy to knock knock knock on right next door to Santa! Welcome to the jingle you hoe hoe hoes!
Wow with that kind of talent. I don't think you ever have to worry about fans asking to take pictures with you or give you gifts.
She is actually very excited. And she loved her leather limited edition of The Language of Fear. P
I think it's really cute and fun. I can't wait to wear mine. I even bought one as a Christmas gift for my boss. This is cringeworthy and anyone who supports it is an idiot.
He should fire you

Haha, wow. Eddie Trunk's attempt at not adding to the rumours... didn't go so well.
That man annoys me.
I have met a lot of people in NYC this week who totally disagree with you.
This commment pretty much sums up:
A reunion isn't happening. Ever.I am thinking of tracking this thread so I don't miss the announcement.
The announcement followed by another 150 pages of "I told you so!", if there is or isn't a reunion.
Every fake wannabe insider is just that.
Axl has made it more than clear. Not in this lifetime.
I would buy that stock.
*Edit
If a reunion really does happen, then what in the hell were the last 20 years about?
With or without a reunion the last 20 years are nothing but a big joke.
Man even if you like CD and think it's the best album of the last decade, still it's just one goddaimn album in all those years. Everytime when I read about Axl's "hard work" I laugh my ass off, really.

Unfortunately, over the past 15 years, Guns n Roses has become a joke, a very sick joke, and the fans are the butt of that joke.
This reunion talk is just a continuation of the joke.
discrace TO humanity.Fernando is a disgrace for humanity
That's the proper term.
Irony.
That is totally uncalled for. ISIS is a disgrace to humanity!

Was a really nice restaurant. My friend and I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the person who bumped this thread. We had a lovely time!

The world doesn't give a shit about Axl Rose today.
It's only us psychos here on the boards.
Not true.
-
Just had a totally awesome dinner here with a friend. They even played November Rsin for us. Great food and great service. ?
-
Yeah. He seems very bitter with those Fat Elvis comments that he made about Axl.
I've always said Ash Hudson is the one major obstacle standing in the way of a reunion.
Are you retarded? Get lost, loser.Just kill the families. Kill them so we can return to 1987.
Let's not let their families interfere with our reunion.
Good post. As you all well know. I am not a fan of Eddie Trunk.Poor Eddie feels like this is his reunion haha I expect a long letter from Axl...not a radio personality. Imagine the pressure Slash has been under to talk about this. Eddie gets 3 fans that talk to him about guns and he freaks out.
To be fair to the fans Eddie it was you who put this rumor out that you had sources that told you it's going to happen...so don't get mad about the pointless speculation. This isn't a product of silence from the band, it's irresponsible ghost journalism on your part also.

If a fan came to me with fan-fiction I'd say it was amazing too, you know, for safety reasons.

When I gave it to him 18 months ago he told me that I was sweet. He totally remembered me and he really liked it. I don't care if you believe me

You shouldn't be so quick to judge. My wife is a nurse and is seriously thinking about applying at a pediatric care hospital. So I, for one, would be very interested in talking about that subject.
No. Iike meeting artists. I consider actors to be artists. As a huge TED fan it was a thrill to meet the God of Thunder. I only made the Eddie Trunk comment cuz somebody said that asking celebrities for pictures can be unsettling to them. And Eddie was not very nice to me. He is a D list celebrity at best. Yes I own that I am being a bitch.
Celebrity worship is weird
It also brought me good luck. I met Chris Hemsworth aka THOR just walking down the street. He graciously let me take his pic. Much more handsome and nicer then Eddie Trunk!
How do you feel about them charging $100 for a pillow and $150 for a blanket?Well I am having a great time wearing my Welcone to the Jingle shirt all around NYC. Getting lots of compliments. People on the subway even yell Guns n Roses!
Do you have any idea how much they charge for a Welcome To The Jingle thong? That´s what I want to buy. I want to walk around NYC wearing that thong. It would be a dream come true for me to stop traffic at Time Square. People chanting Guns N´Roses, big party at MTV studio, dancing while listening the best GN´R song ever... Scraped!
Shaming celebrities is not cool Annie I've seen you complain
about people who shame celebrities on line. Isn't it hypocritical of you to do that?
This forum is a tiny part of my life. I don't think anybody here cares about pediatric intensive care But Michael C Hall who is currently working with David Bowie said my Dexter fan fiction was amazing. So I am an artist in my own right.Am I wrong or emo Annie basically just talks about and worships male celebrities? Sorry for the off topic but that's weird.
Thank youIn EMO Annie's defense, I sometimes say "GNR!" when I see someone with an AFD shirt here in NYC.
And no, there has never once been a ChDem red hand shirt or a "Funcke and HedBukcet wrote the best GNR songs ever" shirt. Just FYI.

A piece of free advice is to not judge people off of one meeting. You might have caught Trunk on a bad day. And you might have caught Hemsworth on a good day. And why would Hall's opinion mean more to you than anybody else's?
Taking one thirty second interaction with somebody and then extrapolating that out to say what kind of person they are - not always the best bet.
And why is it OK for you to be a bitch (your word) about a celeb and not for other people to behave the same way? I'm confused by the double standard.
Lastly.....you seriously write fan fiction?
I just wanted Dexter to have a happy ending. And the fact that the actor who played the character for 8 seasons thought it was amazing means more to me than an Academy Award. I try and not judge people. I'm human I don't always succeed. I probably would have forgotten about the encounter with Eddie had he not been one of the people to start up the reunion speculations. Lots of people write fan fiction. Unfortunately that's how the world ended up with that vile piece of crap 50 Shades of Grey.

Ha ha. Was actually a really nice lady. Her boyfriend took pics. Later some really cool NYPD officers in Times Square yelled Guns n roses. We even took pics and made videos.

You did not hang around long enough to hear what they shouted after ''Guns N' Roses....'' I take it?

He said if there was a reunion he would shout it from the toppest mountain
What does Adler have to do with this considering I never mentioned him?
God. Ie Seth MacFArlane is proudIf one more person says soon I'm going postal.
"Probably"
Is Stevie Adler your hero?
lol well it's a good point don't ya think? Honestly if you happened to bump into Fernando on the street and he told you the reunion was happening how would you react?! Personally I'd jump for joy and run to the top of Mount Everest screaming the good news to the top of my lung!!!What a lovely festival analogy for the time of year.
-
How does wanting to evolve and experiment make somebody a sell out?Axl is a much bigger sell out than Slash. Slash has always stuck to his rock n' roll roots while Axl tried to add hip hop beats and sound modern to 2000s kids.
Awful post from kanudo.

A serial killer that struggles to find his humanity? As opposed to your garden variety humanitarian serial killer you mean?
Dexter was an awesome show. Check it out sometime. I hope that more people get to see LAZARUS. David Bowie is a genius.
