AC/DC is totally against greatest hits albums - they believe every album is a whole, and picking and choosing tracks deflates the album experience. That's also why AC/DC took so long to jump on the downloads bandwagon (And they're still not on iTunes IIRC). I remember a story from when they had that add-on disc for Rock Band back in like 2008 or 2009, the developers of Rock Band wanted to do an AC/DC's greatest hits pack but the band wouldn't allow it, so the developers "cheated" by saying they wanted to do Live At Donington

I wish they would make an exception and record their greatest hits with Axl singing! But a live album would also be fine ?

I've been reading a lot of comments regarding Slash's demeanor and body language last night at the Troubadour. From what I've seen on Youtube it seems like people are thinking that Slash might have been upset or was perhaps more focused rather than loose.

Obviously, last night was a really emotional night for us fans, but I also think it was very emotionally charged for the band as well, particularly between Axl and Slash.

The thing that I kept thinking about is Axl tried for nearly a quarter of a century to replace Slash in GnR, but simply couldn't, yet here we were with both of them on stage once again.  Clearly, Slash hasn't forgotten that which is why, by all accounts, he played his fucking ass off.

In watching the videos Slash had a laser-like focus that I haven't seen before (I just saw him at the Palladium last October and he was very loose). It's like he had a chip on his shoulder, that he wanted reassert himself after such a long absence. I read a review of last night's show where the reviewer said that when the band looked at each other to continue the song, Slash continued to solo a little longer. I couldn't help but remember when GnR recorded Sympathy For The Devil that in the final version of the song Axl wanted Paul Huge's lead parts included which Slash took as the ultimate sign of disrespect. I also remember reading in an interview a long time ago that 'Shotgun Blues' was the only solo Slash ever recorded with Axl in the room and that that was a very different vibe when he was recording it. There's always been a combustible element between them that has been both a blessing and a curse.

I think as the tour rolls on the chemistry and dynamic between the two of the will get better onstage. Even though they have made up and agreed to do this tour (which is incredible) I think old emotions die hard which is what I think we witnessed a little last night.

His performance was really good and he looked fine. Maybe now he can focus because he's not as drunk and stoned as he used to be onstage back in the day.

  3. I've been saying that for some time now, but my source said December.

    I'll have more info soon.

It's not going to be a tour like 2010, though. Just a couple of dates on bigger venues this time.

Do you knok where in Brazil? Thx

  4. Hopefully this will put an end to the discussion - or start a new one. Who knows...

geez! I clicked because I thought he really bought a boat and I love boats :bitchfight:

  5. Axl's cyber-day:

    porn - 2,5 hours

    mygnr - 4 hours

making rage threads on 4chan after watching mygnr - 0,5 hour

    Slash's twitter page - 1,5 hours

making rage threads on 4chan after watching slash's twitter page- 0,5 hour

google for rumors on ex bandmembers - 1 hour

downloading music by ex bandmembers - 1 hour

laugh about what people say about DJ - 1 hour

cry after realizing he's still stuck with DJ - 1 hour

read up on conspiracy theories - 2 hours

writing hate-mails to Slash, everybody he hates and DJ- 1,5 hour

And that, dear children, is why we have no new album

    That's incorrect.

Writing emails to everybody he hates would take him 24 hours

I can imagine Axl reading the forums and smashing his girlfriend against the wall ! lol

    Fixed. -_-

He has changed more phones and puters than girlfriends thus, my theory must be correct :bitchfight: :xmasssanta:
