I´m really and deeply disgusted by some of the comments I´ve read in here. Some people need to get a life. I can´t understand why so much hate and anger towards Axl and I can´t understand why they take all this stuff so personal either. It was pretty obvious that this was going to be a no win situation, it´s always been like this with Axl since the so called "fans" are NEVER happy, no matter he does things right or wrong there are always the bitter ones who are ready to start the bashing fest in a heart beat.

Whether you agree or not with his decision of not attending and not being inducted, why can´t you fucking respect it? It´s his decision not yours and if he wants it all this way, so be it.

I don't respect it because it's not a respectable decision. You don't want to show up? Fine. But releasing this letter and playing victim yet again, is just low. It makes him look ridiculous, and it's truly painful to see him that way.

See? You are just proving my point. He has been honest ( again, you might agree or not ) and has exposed his reasons and people bash him. I´m 100% sure that if he had decided to go there would be people who would find the wrong side of things and would bash him. And if he decided not to show up and not give any explanations you people would be bashing the hell out of him.

I´ve been a fan since the old days and from what I remember (from what was said back in the day) Izzy left because he couldn´t deal too well with the big machine GNR had become. As much as I would love to have new music my answer would be NO.

No because with the RRHB induction the old band stuff is all over the place and like it or not, Axl would have a fuckillion ( don´t know who invented that word but I love it lol ) critics and hate and the eternal Old band vs New band would raise hell. There are still a lot of people who haven´t accepted that Axl has moved on.

And no because you all know what would happen if Axl/GNR/management decided to say/set a release date, the over analysis and the twistings and all the misunderstandings and the personal interpretations would cause nothing but more chaos.

I prefer that things happen when they have to happen and that GNR work the way they want to and in the time they want to instead of "how" and "when" we demand it.

Would seeing Axl on stage performing with Slash be good enough for you? I think that's what we all want to see more than anything else. Yeah, it would be cool if it was the whole AFD lineup, but I really just want to see Axl and Slash when it comes right down to it. We all know that the two of them together (under the GNR name) could sell out stadiums around the world.

What really matters is what THEY (Axl & Slash) want, not what we want.

If they are happy and want to play together again then go ahead BUT if this were not the case, why would we have to insist on it over and over and over?.

It's annoying to even British people. Her accent's Cockney so not typically "British" (like Queen's English/James Bond and all that) but more of a regional accent. She's a great singer though.
