So I'm not a true fan, or a die-hard fan because I am exited to hear new music from my favorite band?

Wanting new music does not mean you aren't a fan. That is just ridiculous.
I am blown away that some fans of a band actually don't care about new music. So because GnR will never make another appetite again, they should just stop creating new music for the rest of their careers and just play the old classics (that were created by a different band?
If you are happy with all the nostalgia tours - fine. I personally love the old stuff, but also want to see what this band can do. We know they are a top notch cover band.....let's see what they can create themselves!!!

Now now, by following your logic, the old band was also a cover band since they played Live and let die, Knocking on heaven´s doors and all the covers included in the Spaghetti Incident cd....but I guess you won´t accept that.

What does the new band do? Is the ratio even close? From the last show, how many songs were created by DJ, bumblefoot and frank???????
What percentage of the songs were created by the current band??????????

When you tour for years, playing songs created by other musicians.......what would you call that band?
The funny thing is I used to be called a Nutter in here, and complained about it. But now I understand why people use that word to describe some of you. Axl could piss on your face and some of you would say "thanks, I was hit and thirsty. Thank u!"

Maybe he is insecure about his teeth. I know he had them fixed ( which means there was maybe an insecurity there ), that's why they're all straight and pearly white now, but maybe the insecurity is still there.

I think you guys are confusing "Fanaticism" with "Fandom". They are quite differernt imo and I´m closer to the latter. A fan supports the band with loyalty in the good times and in the bad times whereas a fanatic develops an irrational obsession and turns into an intolerant freak.

Its not that he doesn't want to meet fans or that he unhappy about having to meet them
there just seems to be a general sadness about him
Why do people always think Axl is sad?! We don´t know him, we don´t know how he is and the fact that he isn´t smiling in all the pics doesn´t mean he is unhappy.
He is a human being and you guys usually tend to forget that.

A real forum is only vibrant and alive when everybody ONLY posts positive things and everybody ONLY praises the band and other posters. No debate or honest critique is allowed. People are not allowed to have an opinion that disagrees with the Nutters, if so, they are haters and must be banned!!!!!!!

This is probably too difficult for you to comprehend, but please give it a shot. Maybe take a few days to think about it before responding.
There is a difference between saying it is the greatest show a fan as been to, compared to saying it is the greatest show of all time.
When clowns like you start calling every performance epic and the greatest show ever.....all you are doing is cheapening the shows that really were epic or were potentially all time great.
The OP started off saying that it was obvious Axl was sick. That tells you that the vocals probably weren't as strong as other nights. So the show might have been epic to scooter Jones who was attending his first ever GnR show. But was this show really a contender for the best GnR show of all time? Really?
Funny thing, I'm probably a bigger fan of Axl than you are. And it's because I don't just kiss his ass like you and a couple other people do, no matter what he does. In 2013 Axl could record an album full of nothing but burps and farts for 60 minutes and start doing tours where they play three songs and then take a nap on stage......and you and a couple of the other Nutters would proclaim that 2013 was the best year in GnR history.
Like I said before. Fanatics are just as bad as the people who bash Axl every day on here.
The fact that people don´t agree with you or don´t think the same way that you do doesn´t mean that you need to resort to name calling and lacks of respect. Perception is subjective and each one perceives things in a different way. We already know that AXL Rose is a human being and is not perfect (God forbid him for that!!), and some shows are better than others. Some days he sings better and some days he sings worse, some shows are fantastic and some are not so good, so fucking what?.The guy gives the best of him every night whether he is ill or healthy or upset or happy. If you want a perfect performance go listen to a cd but don´t ruin it for those who enjoy those shows.
The first time I attended a GNR show it was not so good but even the most perfect and amazing performance can´t compare to the emotions and happines I felt that night. Even if the show wasn´t perfect I enjoyed the hell out of it. I saw them again some time later and that show was a million times better than my first GNR gig but I still prefer the previous one.
IMO, a show does not only consist on how good the performance is but also on how much you enjoy it.
If you think the last Axl performances have not been good it´s ok, it´s your opinion and is as acceptable as anyone else´s but it doesn´t give you the right to ruin it for those who DO love the shows and enjoy them and don´t think the same you do.

- Axl set the bar for what his voice could be in 2010 - the past two years have been a shell of that, prompting legitimate questions like why? And how is it so much worse from just a few years ago?
- One album in 20+ years is enough to make more than a few fans restless, especially knowing there are tons of unreleased material out there
- The same essential tour for roughly 10 years is pathetic. Why is Axl Rose so afraid to move forward?
No where does it say these shows are from the "Chinese Democracy Tour" so your point is?.
Just because a band doesn´t release a record doesn´t mean they can´t tour

People who want Axl to hire Slash again have obviously had no personal experience with cancer. It's devastating. I wouldn't wish it on my own worst enemy.
My grandmother just passed away due to cancer. Not cool.
So did Axl´s mom and Slash´s mom and I´m sick of reading how people take the cancer comment out of context.

Around 99% of the radio stations in Spain are not into rock so go figure...
I used to listen to one of the very few called "Rock & Gol" where they played only rock and I loved it that almost every morning they played a gnr song while I was driving to my classes but this station is being extinguished and now I can only hear it in internet.

I don´t think they are going to announce the release of new music, the tour ended a few weeks ago and it´s impossible that they record a whole cd in that time. Maybe it´ll be related to the announcement of some more dates for the european leg of the tour this summer, or a dvd release or something like that. *Crosses fingers*

You can´t prove anybody wrong because YOUR OPINION does´n count as the universal truth and the fact that you try to impose your opinion and your twistesd and repetitive views don´t make them more true.
And with regards to the Bon Jovi comment, it was an inside joke between Pirate Chick and me and the fact that you took the time to overanalyze it and use it as an excuse to portray us like ass kissers makes you even dumber and as obsessed or even more than what you accuse others to be.
