maybe I didn't specify it clear enuff in that jibba-jabbin post of mine
I have 3 UMIX files
one works - so I open it and capture the sound from it
two dont work - I get an error message which says that there's a licence problem (the files are, after all, 10 years old so maybe the licence did expire)
I want to extract what's in the file without opening it with the U-mix-it program
each of the two files I'm talking about now is about 170 mb, so I bet there are 8 WAV files inside (the program allows you to remix 8 tracks)
any help PLEASE?

all in all, couldnt all those problems, sulking and discussing be avoided if the shows just officially started later than they did?
instead of printing '6pm' on the tickets, just say 'midnite it is', and that's all
you'd have to deal with it and Axl would have his way and never be officially late
and on an ironic note, maybe GNR would have never broken up - Slash would have lost his favorite argument on the "why I left GNR?" debate
he wouldn't have had to deal with "the late starts"

hey peeps,
way back when on Sony CDs they would add a program called Cakewalk Umixit (you mix it)
with this program you could remix a song or two, also featured on the CD, in a umix format
this file had all the separate instrumental tracks for you to cut thru, paste, change, mute, etc
i found mine on Aerosmith "You gotta move" DVD and Joe Perry's solo album in 2005 "Joe Perry"
unfortunately, i was never able to run Perry's files, bikoz I always got an error message
it was in 2005 and when I tried to do it again, 10 years later, the program is no longer supported
but my question here is,
does anybody know how to extract those WAV files from Umix files?
I'd kill to dismember those extra songs intro separate tracks, just for the fun of itmuch obliged

is it really just me who believes this song is about Axl Rose?
I saw a video of Slash in 1997 where he said he didn't want to do work with these clows but he later met them, listened to the song and he loved it so much.Slash was drunk during the interview and he made it sure to show he really likes the song. And this was during Axl vs Slash war at its highest . I believe at the very same interview Slash talked trash about Axl. It was on MTV.
I mean, think about it,just read the lyrics - it's Slash addressing Axl

sixx am are gonna tour for 2-3 weeks tops
and makin the album will be fast too
nikki will do it on his laptop, as for ashba solos - DJ will use some of those he records at his home studio all the time
then they will show up for make up, record 60 minutes of Vlogs in one session, and that's it
as of those 90 mins worth of Vlogs - 30 of them will be released on the deluxe limited tour edition of the album, the rest will be released on youtube in 15 parts, around two minutes each, every three days

you know, i saw GNR live 5 times and every single time they hit the stage between 11.30 pm and midnite.
it was the tickets which on every occasion told me to show up anytime between 12 noon and 5 pm to hang around longer, stuff my face with more hot dawgs, buy more merch , drink more beer , so on and so forth
and, o yea, the sunday rockers which consisted 3/4 of the crowd around me was shocked every single time - whaddya mean he ain't here? it's way past my bedtime
but i can relate to one thing
if you gotta stand around and keep your good view pointin front of the stage for 8-9 hours,it sucks big time - even when you get those expensive tickets
especially if the opening acts are super cool and you wanna check them out and then you know that once the opening act is finished you gotta hang around for the next 6 hours trying not to
- get too drunk
- get in trouble
- get high
- get too hungry
- get tired and sleepy (bikoz you always DO get tired and sleepy once you check the previous points of this list, no matter what)

So, apparetly, Slash was credited to take part in a 2012 short comedy 'Potus'
I followed all-Slash news back then, as much as I still do, and was surprized to have no recollections of seeing it.

Slash is credited as a member of Ozzy's band. So is Mike Bordin.
The year was 2009
I can't find this episode anywhere, or a clip from it.
I have no recollections of seeing it, but maybe I did so, since they probably played a song togeter and I didn't register it being a part of a TV show.
Does anyone have more info of what they played, and maybe a link to it?

1. and what if it was actually AXL that wanted Ashba out? Say, for whatever reason. Axl was dissapointed in the long run.
Axl doesn't have to always be the one that people run away from.
2. NO TO REUNION
I still say - AFD Reunion would be the BIGGEST, the most fake and the most bogus dissapointment in the history of rock n roll.
It's no secret in today's AFD squad nobody likes nobody . I can't really see them onstage "being into it" ('cept Adler)
AFD Reunion 2015 would be a LOT more phony than GNR 2.0

a lotta sunday rockers despise what Axl did with GNR, but I dig the hell out of it.
It's Axl's way or the highway. You try live your life this way, with your bank loans, shotgun weddings, bosses and what nots.
