  1. yellow peeps,

    say,

outside of studio work with GNR, Hollywood Rose, and Izzy/JuJu albums, what albums did Izzy play on?

I remember once reading on wiki he played on Mark Lanegan album (Bubblegum), and of course Slash's 2010 album, but are there any more he ever contributed to?

p.s. as of Izzy solo discography, are there any other b-sides of it 'cept those found on "pressure drop" ep? Can't hear 'em, come unglued, been a fix?

    cheers

  2. what was Slash thanked for on RockstarSupernova CD?

I remember many years ago, 2005, that Slash showed up in their camp and did some shit with them, but now I can't remember what

did he write some riffs for them? (is not credited on any song)

taugh Gilby the SCOM solo for the upcoming tour?

  3. is there anyone on the forum obsessed with Izzy enuff to know / quote / provide legit info / speculate wisely why is Izzy's River CD all black?

it doesn't sound like a depressing record. Or now does it?

or did it just look cool way back in 2001 (13 yrs ago, mindcha)

  4. I'd like to remind that in about 2001, when GNR played Rio 3, Tracii made a comment , along the lines of : my old pal Axl surely forgotten how to make records any more. Give me a call, buddy, and I'll help you out. Let's do it the old fashioned way.

  5. I highly recommend Buckethead's music to everybody. With the millions of hours of music he has put out, of course a lot of it won't attract your attention, but I must assure everybody - going through his discography, you will find a MASSIVE amount of great music that will stick with your forever - no matter if you like rock, metal, jazz, groove, hip hop or anything else.

And, oh yeah, DO NOT make the big mistake of exploring ONLY his solo stuff. Buckethead has taken part in countless projects, and everyone is different

when I listen to Buckethead, I can't come back to the living

  6. having been a gnr die hard for the last 21 years, i do not want a reunion. they are too old . and as far as haters go, it they reunited, axl would get the same beef for being fat as he does now.

besides, the reunion would be a fake. sorum is out of it, izzy can't care less, duff isn't duff anymore, slash and axl hate each other and don't need the money.

and, oh yea, i really believed in the chinese democracy project. i don't want it to look purposeless, even tho it seems to be. but so does the reunion.

  7. can anybody please help me clarify it, bikoz I kinda got lost in all this and my memory doesnt serve me that well any more

GNR wanted to release the London show in cinemas, but then they scraped the idea. That show leaked.

Then they decided to show the Vegas show in cinemas, and it seems they soon will. But has that show leaked?

If anybody gets pissed off by this thread, answer me (PLEASE) by PM and feel free to delete this thread.

    cheers and thanks in advance

  8. all the "scroll down thru" opinions apart, I'd like to share a fact

    not all of you know,

even tho the song wasn't a single, it reached number ONE on the Polish mainstream radio, and stayed put there for 3-4 weeks in early 2009

p.s. Poland is the european country between Germany and Russia. Ever heard of those?

  9. This might be a recycled info for some of ya , and yet a new info for the others.

been goin thru my old tapes and gave the "Body Count - Born Dead" (1994) a listen.

    it's Ice T's metal band.

in the credits, Ice T gives a shout out to "Linda & Duff McKagan - My main n****s" (forum censored the N-word). Then he also says thanks to people working for GNR, and then goes a list of bands that Body Count thanks to, and I guess this is a list of bands that Body Count opened for. The list includes GNR, and mostly all of the bands that GNR played with during UYI tours - NIN, Metallica, Sucidal Tendencies, what nots.

Then some other member of the band sends his regards to Duff, and Gilby is also thanked for something , but I dont remember if they thank him personally, or is he mentioned in the list of bands BCount opened for.

    So, yea,
