yeah, this one ain't it. It's something about the perspective on Axl looking up that just looks, weird. Ah well, Buhler has to miss every once in a while, right?!

Wait, -hold up, do we actually know when it was written?
I know it gets attributed to Dizzy/Pittman. But could some of it of been knocking around between Dizzy and Axl from the UYI (My World) era?
There's basically nothing left from UYI so if the demo existed back then...... are they going to try and count it as a UYI bonus track?
Very plausible. Anyone completely shooting down a UYI set, especially given the timing and the single's font, is just willing a new album into reality. Let's see, it's interesting to say the least.

I saw no official Statements from the management or the band.
Just rumours based on the AfD boxset
Yes, so you meant "UYI anniversary isn't confirmed" not "No UYI anniversary is confirmed", big difference.
This is GNR. An anniversary boxset bundled with an unrelated single is easily as realistic as a new album

Well, no UYI anniversary is confirmed anyway.
By who?

Oh the boxset. I meant more like a new album. Yes, it could be this, but like I've said here before, why choose this to promote UYI stuff is beyond me. Oh well, seek logic in the world of GNR...
yeah, you can't use logic Axl probably picked the easiest song to sing live, and they probably have very little left from the UYI era.

Why do you guys suddenly believe this hints a new album and SOYL didn't? What has changed? Same situation (touring, same songs), same non-promoted single (no video). I mean, I love the current excitement and definitely wish this means something, but there's not much evidence that this is different from a few years ago.
I assume people think because it's a CD leftover, rather than a remixed AFD era-tune that tied directly into a boxset release. I agree we should be sceptical though, the font and the timing really does make me think UYI boxset tbh...

Why are they using UYI font for the cover? I hope this is not just a single to promote the upcoming anniversary boxset. WE WANT A NEW ALBUM!
I hate that you're probably right. Weird they didn't use an actual UYI leftover (if there are any) but we're what, 6 weeks out from the anniversary? Makes sense then in a few years the actual album might drop.

Axl in 2022. Oh no
This is me rn too. Im glad that 2022 should provide more certainty around the world...
However, as each year passes I'm reminded that Ax' ain't getting any younger...

they won't move such a huge production for 2 dates..
Yup. I can only see AUS/NZ happening.

From the news of the lockdown lifting, the shows are a few days too early to make it likely they will happen in the UK - if they do, they can only have 10,000 people at them. Hopefully they'll just cancel and then reschedule when there is more certainty
Yeah, can't see them happening. Each country in Europe is on its own path too, and I couldn't see it being worthwhile for GnR to come out here without the full tour getting the go ahead. Expect next summer imo.

Summer 2022 feels realistic. Anything before is a bit of a pipe dream to be honest.

Has the EU run always said rescheduled, as in from last year?

I haven't seen most of the feedback on here from Exit 111 but I assume y'all thought it was as poor as I did.
These selects have been a nice bonus but this one should just close them out. The only ones worth a damn after all this are the 2016 one for the performance and the download 18 one for the superior mixing and camera work.
Lastly, I just don't understand some of the choices here. Surely the advantage to picking select tunes from different gigs is to pick the best performances. This scattershot approach has led to some dodgy performances being released, so if you ain't gonna pick the best bits why not just release one full gig?
Honestly, this management.

I'ts not too bad. 3,200 AUS, that' what, 20 USD?
I joke, Good for the seller. I'd sell all of my music concert posters I've carefully cultivated and had framed if someone's willing to spend 3K for them.
The thing is, no-one is. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that'll spend $3k on that, surely.

I've had no email about Glasgow postponement either BUT I did get my refund email earlier on today. I submitted the request on May 30th.

Has anyone attempted or had a refund for this date yet? Surely if rescheduled its a straight year later. The green day/fall out boy/weezer gig already redone for date next year, why is everything so much hard work for Gnr, and updates are at a minimum for anything.... Losing my patience... 😁
I submitted a ticket though the link posted in the London thread a week or two ago, zero response. Not followed up yet, but maybe this one is being rescheduled and London cancelled for a different venue? not sure tbh...

I always took the intro to Scraped to almost be Axl showing off. Like, check this shit out.
Not a very good impression is it. I like Axl's shriek as much as anyone but the Scraped intro sounds like toss.

The 2002 tour could have been great with an actual album to promote. Also, that was the last chance to hear the new songs without Bumble and Frank.
Maybe. I just think album or not Axl didn't seem ready to take on the task of fronting guns in the limelight again. It would have been great to see Bucket stick around for the 06 run but you can't blame him for leaving.

'01/'02 & '06/'07 looks and feels more fresh to me than any era after that.
I think 01/02 was good but it lacked the Axl we've come to know and love. Not even just vocals but the whole package. I'm not surprised 02 was cut short, he didn't seem ready.

That’s a OVERRATED show for 2006 stardand levels
if you compare shows like download, nova rock, Greece and many others from that same leg, they are even better.
Maybe but the thread is about the culmination of everything, including the proshot (almost) full show, the mixing and sound etc. I think compared to RIR06 and Inland Invasion, RAR is a cut above for performance and equally importantly, mixing and sound quality.

Unique doesn't mean good but again, that is the greatness of art. Hope anyone who wants one can get their hands on it!
Same here. The perspective throws you off, which can be neat, but imo once you figure out what is going on, it's still not great. Feels to me like different styles jumbled together on a page.
