Anyone else notice that it was all “low voice” songs? Just sayin...
EDIT: that being said, the high-voice parts on Easy sounded great!
no they didn't. And they usually do for ISE.
Wonder when they'll run out of "low voice" songs to use. I suspect we're gonna get half a concert in total -

Just seen this on Twitter. Fucking ridiculous. This band and management are a disgrace. Politics shouldn't be involved.
Been a fan all my life, shameful moment for GNR. Sums up the fucking idiots in charge.
Kind of glad London has been postponed. Was really questionning my decision to go anyway, no new music, all this politics shit... easy decision now.
After at least 10 shows in multiple countries i've had enough of this set up. Embarrassing that they think this is a good PR move.... This Fernando character is a fucking idiot.
Similar boat. Had tickets for Glasgow for the simple fact that I was going with family for a summer trip. Seen NITL 5 times though and as each day passes i'm increasingly likely to take up any refund option. This shirt fiasco is embarrassing.

In other news, someone's trying to sell tickets for London.

Not sure where this ticket's coming from

Meaning....?
From a simple translate:
"Due to the current situation caused by the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak, and following the recommendations of the General Directorate of Health and limitations imposed for the month of May by the state of calamity, the @gunsnroses show scheduled for May 20, finds up postponed. We are working on a new date, which we hope to share soon, as well as all ticket information. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

Why isnt this cancelled? No e-mail regarding that and just 3 weeks left
Because GNR would rather change their Facebook cover picture to a clip advertising a tour thats half already cancelled and half being ignored.

Are they promoting a tour that will not happen?
They're promoting a tour where a bunch of the dates have ALREADY not happened.
I also came to mock the Lisbon, POLAND section

TRNSMT Cancelled, so this basically is. Not news at this point but, ya know...

What about Europe? NA refund schemes being discussed before anything for Europe?!

Hopefully it'll be able to go ahead. I've seen a few tours recently announced for October. I think they should wait a few months first.
Yeah. SA is currently scheduled to start November 8th

A little birdie has told me the plug was pulled today. It is fully cancelled, not rescheduled.
London or the tour? London could make sense if they can't figure out the venue for 2021. I don't think I believe the whole tour will be cancelled though...

Yeah it'll be hard to reschedule UK Summer Stadium gigs especially when all summer could be a write off.
No GNR gigs till 2021 I reckon
I think SA will go ahead this fall
-
Whole thing will probably get pushed to the following summer, including US dates. Tour to start up with SA again in November?
-
Do we think Axl pushed a bit more due to knowing this was gonna be it for a short while? Certainly sounded stronger than most first shows.

Aren't the later dates in the SA tour going ahead?
They weren't listed as postponed on the post I saw.
I would doubt it but yeah they're not listed on the site. Just Chile, BA, Sao Paulo and Bogota. You'd have to assume its only a matter of time before the rest is confirmed though. The band will surely return to the US for now.

When does the US tour conclude? It may be the case that after NA they kind of compile whatever gets cancelled into a weird "Virus Cancellation Leg."
-
Do we think the absurdly high U.S prices is a factor to the constant American tour legs?
In Europe they don't seem to be able to get away with that shit. Even in London, Gold Circle is like £150 and under £100 in other EU markets.
Combine that with the travelling over there and costs that come with...would explain a few things in regards the amount of touring in each region.

GnR won't release anything until a UYI boxset next year.
Then, it's time for The Lasagne Incident in 2023 (More covers including The Seeker.)
Then somewhere else will be crying for democratic reform in 2028.
It's all planned out

Think they made the right choice rejecting this vs Vegas 2019. I am over all of the skulls/skeletons. The GnR logo version is much cleaner with a nice mix of color
The logo one looks like it was done in Photoshop.

Rejected Tim Lenoir Miami design
Saw this earlier. Honestly, I don't know how some of these designs get rejected whilst others are successful. At least Tim's design has a bit of style.

Sounds like Crazy then morphs into The Seeker. They can't even play a different tune when they try

Sorry guys, didn't see it had been discussed here. I believe the ad was targeted location based, from what I remember it just mentioned London, Glasgow and Dublin on my insta account. I only grabbed the chapter screens. It did say "is about to begin" which struck me as they're starting this "Chapter" with Miami tomorrow.

I know this will likely get moved to the Social Media thread, but I found this interesting.
Just got a sponsored Insta story message showing upcoming dates, with the "Next Chapter Is About To Begin" text overlaying.
It's probably just tour-related, but they are still pushing this next chapter thing. Until now, it seemed more promotor driven than anything. Thoughts?

Yup, that's the wife and I favourite place to vacation. She wanted to go in April, and so I'm booking it for that week. They are doing it at the Hard Rock golf course, and if the seating chart is accurate it's about 8000-10,000 capacity. Just don't want to be at the back behind a cage lol
Do you know of any places to stay that are reasonably priced? at least in comparison to the hard rock hotel...
RAR 2006 - When the stars aligned
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
Posted
After looking back over the recent proshot footage (including remixes @SMG), I decided to have a bit of a proshot browse of older shows and man...
How fucking good was the RAR06 show? Like; performance, sound, video, mixing etc. all spot on. I feel like we forever lament RIR's shitty mixing or Axl's off days but boy the stars did align for Rock am Ring 06. Even the set felt nice and lean, with no bloat or songs they just go through the motions on.
To this day it's the only GNR proshot where I feel the whole show is just spot on and one I'd share and show mates to try and explain why i love live GNR so much. I've known this for years but man, going back now gives me a different perspective.
What are your ult proshots?
