I prefer the demo. It’s just very overdone and brick walled now. I can understand lyrics but that Slash solo doesn’t hold a candle to Robin’s original. There’s been some re-recorded lyrics it’s very evident, or they used a different take. It’s just nowhere near as good as it was. They left Robin’s lead into the solo in for fuck sake it just sounded hilarious.

Relax, fam. Finck’s solo isn’t earth shattering. Neither is Slash’s. Only thing I miss locker leak is the “save me” bit. This “Perhaps” final cut is fantastic.

Yeah, I generally love ChiDem but Tommy got done dirty, and his bass is part of why the demo of Riad is better than the album cut. His bass is super loud on the demo for the title track, too, but in that case it's may be a bit too much, somewhere in between the demo and the album version would likely be ideal.

You’re 100 percent on this. I  prefer the studio “Chinese Democracy” because the bass was overdone on those earlier versions. But like you said, there is a happy medium there. I listened to the locker leaks a lot back in 2019 and then going back to the studio record, it was really painfully apparent how bass was just non-existent. Buried.

    Alot of empty seats....

It’s sad. Was so cool in 2016 to see the full stadiums and GNR finally getting positive press. They’ve oversaturated the market with nonstop touring + skyrocketing ticket prices. If they priced the tickets to what they are now day-of show, they wouldn’t have had a problem selling. I’m sure many people went online to see about tickets, saw the asking price, and never checked again.

Except it does. First and foremost, Beta was an immigrant. I can't find any background info, but it's very common for people with degree here having to work with low-income jobs in the US. Nonetheless, she would never been seing as "housekeeper/nanny" for the eternity if she wasn't from Latin America. It would be a success case, for her to become a manager after having to restart her life after a divorce.

Bro, come on. It’s not a success case so much as a friendship she struck up with Axl. I am sure he considers them his family now, trusts them, so they manage him. It’s not a classic American success story. It’s nepotism. LOL

Even still, if they didn’t behave so unprofessionally toward fans on social media, then they wouldn’t be disparaged as much. There is a certain level of arrogance to them when discussing anything with us “peasants.”
